  • Patent number: 10821523
Abstract: A counter bearing for machining spindles of machine tools has at least one expansion bushing with an elastically deformable wall that delimits at least one pressure chamber. The pressure chamber accommodates a pressure medium. A supply line for the pressure medium opens into the pressure chamber. A pressure conduit opens into the pressure chamber. A mechanically actuatable pressure element is disposed in the pressure conduit and actuated by an actuating tool. A piston is slidably arranged in the pressure conduit and actuated by the pressure element, wherein the piston loads the pressure medium.

  • Patent number: 10538011
Abstract: In monitoring the machine space of a processing machine during the throughput of workpieces in order to detect workpieces that got stuck, the rear end of a workpiece with reference to the transport direction generates a start signal in the inlet region of the machine space, as well as an end signal in the outlet region thereof by sensors that are connected to a control unit. Beginning with the start signal, the control unit detects a feature that characterizes a theoretical feed travel and generates a release signal if the value of the detected characteristic feature has reached at the time, at which the end signal is generated, a predefined limiting value and not yet exceeded a predefined upper limiting value or if the end signal is generated at a time, at which the value of the detected characteristic feature has reached the predefined limiting value and not yet exceeded the upper limiting value.

  • Patent number: 10449646
Abstract: A pressing device for a machine tool for processing or machining workpieces made of wood or plastics is provided with at least one support with a counter wedge surface. At least one pressing element is fastened to the at least one support. At least one wedge clamping device is provided that has at least one wedge pressure member with a first wedge surface that is resting on the counter wedge surface of the at least one support. The at least one wedge clamping device also has at least one adjusting element acting on the at least one wedge pressure member. The at least one wedge clamping device clamps the at least one pressing element on the at least one support. A machine tool with such a pressing device is provided.

  • Patent number: 10059022
Abstract: The adjusting device for a pressure roller of a processing machine has a pivotable support arm carrying a pressure roller adjustable with the support arm from a pressure position into a resting position. The support arm is seated on a support rod that engages a clamping aperture of a pressure roller bracket. The support rod has a first section with noncircular cross section that forms a form-fit section cooperating with the clamping aperture of the pressure roller bracket by form-fit. The support rod has a second section arranged axially offset to the first section and forming a rotary section. It rests against the inner side of the clamping aperture and allows rotation of the support rod about its axis in the clamping aperture. The pressure roller can be pivoted easily into a resting position and/or transverse to the workpiece in the width direction with a constructively simple design.
