  • Patent number: 8623147
Abstract: A method for removal of wax deposited on an inner wall in contact with a fluid stream. The method includes the steps of cooling the inner wall and the fluid stream to a temperature of or below the wax appearance temperature, enabling wax to dissolve and precipitate on the inner wall, and heating of the inner wall for a short period of time to release the deposited wax from the surface of the inner wall, mainly in the form of solid parts. The thickness of wax deposits in a pipe section can be determined by computing the temperatures obtained upstream and downstream in the said pipe section, before and after applying heat pulse.

  • Patent number: 7584634
Abstract: A retractable lock for cabinet doors, wherein a cradle in a cutout door portion accommodates a lever handle secured, in a pivoted-in position, by a locking mechanism. The lever handle pivots out of the cradle over an operating displacement, via a pivot bearing, in a plane perpendicular to the door panel. A latching bar on the opposite side of the cradle is longitudinally displaceable, with the operating displacement of the lever handle being converted into longitudinal displacement of the latching bar. In a pivoted-in position of the lever handle, an extension thereof rests against a side of an arm fixedly connected to, and extending from, the latching bar facing the direction of movement of the latching bar into its locking position. A spring disposed between the arm and an abutment of the cradle biases the latching bar into its extended locking position.

  • Publication number: 20090114467
Abstract: In a holding device and a motor vehicle including such a holding device for gas cylinders, comprising a frame formed by two longitudinal members interconnected at opposite ends by cross-members and supporting a first gas cylinder mounted to the longitudinal members by straps extending around the first gas cylinder, a profiled support rail is disposed on each of the straps and has a first profile fitting the first gas cylinder and at the opposite side a second profile for accommodating a second gas cylinder which is also mounted by straps to the support rail offset sidewardly so that the two cylinders are disposed laterally displaced to facilitate accommodation thereof adjacent an inclined rear seat back wall in the trunk of the motor vehicle.

  • Patent number: 7340928
Abstract: A casement lock for mounting on a cabinet part, especially without the use of a tool. A housing is adapted to be fixedly mounted in an opening of the cabinet part, and an operating shaft is rotatably mounted in the housing. A locking ring is disposed on an inner part of the housing to fasten the housing to the cabinet. The locking ring is axially displaceable on the housing part against the force of a spring supported on the housing. Projections on the housing axially engage in radially extending extensions of the cabinet opening. The locking ring has locking dogs that are offset relative to the housing projections and have inclined surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20060277720
Abstract: A hinge for connecting structural elements to one another, including two hinge leaves each having a receiver aligned with one another. The hinge leaves are to be secured to respective ones of the structural elements. A hinge pin is connected to one of the receivers and is adapted to be inserted into a bore of the other receiver. An arresting mechanism is formed on the hinge pin and/or in the bore, and enables insertion of the hinge pin into the bore yet prevents withdrawal of the hinge pin out of the bore.

  • Publication number: 20060236732
Abstract: A casement lock operable with a key or wrench and comprising a locking core rotatably disposed in a lock housing and carrying a locking tongue that rotates therewith. An operating shaft, engageable by the key or wrench, is disposed in the housing and is displaceable relative to the locking core against the force of a spring. An arresting pin carried by the operating shaft projects radially beyond the periphery thereof, extends through an axially extending slot of the locking core, and extends into a guide slot of the lock housing. The guide slot has two axially extending arresting recesses for the arresting pin associated with pivot positions of the pin corresponding to the locked and unlocked positions of the locking tongue. The guide slot also has a circumferentially extending guide channel that communicates with the arresting recesses and corresponds to rotational movement of the operating shaft with its arresting pin.
