  • Patent number: 9194470
Abstract: A nut (1, 13, 21, 25) for a planetary roller screw drive is provided. A sleeve (14) which is produced by metal forming is provided, and two rings (16) that lie at a fixed distance with respect to each other in the axial direction are provided in this sleeve. In order to engage planets (3), the one ring (16) has the one groove profile (18), and the other ring (16) has the other groove profile (18).

  • Patent number: 8408794
Abstract: A linear ball bearing for longitudinally movable mounting of a shaft-like guide rail in a part surrounding the guide rail, which has a sleeve-like cage with recesses arranged one behind the other in the circumferential direction holding ball circuits which have at least one supporting section with supporting balls which are supported such that they can roll on the guide rail. The supporting balls are also supported such that they can roll on a raceway of a supporting race element inserted indirectly or directly into the cage. The supporting race element has at least one radial outer surface, arched outward at least in one direction, for contact against an inner surface of the part which surrounds the guide rail. The outer surface is formed by at least one web-like projection extending in the longitudinal direction of the supporting race element.

  • Patent number: 6827408
Abstract: A saddle support for securing a saddle of a vehicle, typically of a bicycle, comprises an outer part (2) that surrounds at least a portion of an inner part (1) with formation of a gap (8). A rolling bearing for a linear mounting of the inner part (1) on the outer part (2) is arranged in this gap (8). A spring element (5) acting in mounting direction spring-mounts the inner part (1). The rolling bearing is constituted by a linear bearing assembly (9) with recirculating rolling elements. The rolling elements (13) are in rolling contact with rolling element raceways (13a, 15, 14), at least one of said rolling element raceways being configured on the linear bearing assembly (9) and at least one other of said rolling element raceways being configured on the inner part (1).

  • Patent number: 5988884
Abstract: A guide rail arrangement for connecting two relatively displaceable components comprising a lower rail (1) and an upper rail (2) supported thereon by rolling elements (3), said lower and upper rails being configured as rectilinear sheet metal profiles, one of the lower and upper rails partially surrounding the other of the lower and upper rails, whereby hollow spaces are formed for receiving the rolling elements (3) and further slide elements (4) arranged between the rails is characterized in that, in a central region of the arrangement, the two rails (1, 2) define a receiving space (5) for a spring and/or damping element, which receiving space (5) is adjoined by regions comprising the rolling elements and the slide elements (4) and extending in end regions of the rails (1, 2) which results in the creation of an arrangement with uniform load distribution on its components so that a deformation of the components and a pressing-in of the rolling elements is reliably prevented.

  • Patent number: 5553947
Abstract: In a guide rail (14) for railborne load carriers comprising a support (13) and at least one running rail (15) arranged in a groove (2) of the support (13), this support (13) is an extruded hollow profile. This results in a simple manufacturing method and a small material requirement.
