In order to produce a device for the corrosion-free, water-tight electric contacting of a moisture sensor present on the outer side of the motor vehicle, a conductive track arranged on a flexible support is arranged on the vehicle window, gripping around its edge region, the conductive track being conductively connected to the sensor conductive track in the region outside the vehicle and to a connecting contact in the region inside the vehicle.

    Abstract: A circuit for monitoring contact between the resistance track and the wiper of a potentiometer provides for an adjustable DC voltage which can be tapped from the wiper. An alternating voltage is applied to the wiper via a series connection of a resistor and a capacitor. The resistance is greater than the impedance formed by the capacitance of the capacitor plus one-fourth of the track resistance. Circuitry for rectifying the voltage connects to a junction point between the resistor and the capacitor.
