  • Patent number: 7661485
Abstract: A hammer drill has an electric drive motor having a motor shaft and a tool shaft driven in rotation by the electric drive motor. A hammer action is provided. The tool shaft is driven by a first single-stage gear unit directly by the motor shaft of the electric drive motor. The hammer action is driven by a second single-stage gear unit directly by the motor shaft of the electric drive motor.

  • Publication number: 20090277659
Abstract: A hammer drill for manually guided operation includes an electric drive motor, a tool spindle and a pneumatic hammer function. The hammer drill includes a pressure piston, a striker, and a beat piece for striking axially against a tool that is held by the tool spindle. When the striker reaches a forward limit position, an end section thereof protrudes into a retaining ring that is aligned coaxially with the spindle axis. Manufacturing quality can be improved by bracing the retaining ring against an annular collar in the tool spindle on the one side and axially against a locking ring set in an annular groove conformed in the tool spindle via a retaining disc on the other side. The retaining ring, the retaining disc and the non-return disc are each mirror-symmetrical.

  • Publication number: 20070289761
Abstract: An auxiliary handle for a hand-held power tool has a handle part gripped by a hand of an operator and defining an axial direction. An attachment part with which the auxiliary handle is to be attached to a power tool is provided. An elastic damping element connects the handle part and the attachment part, wherein the handle part is secured to the attachment part by positive fit. A unitary holding section is connected to the handle part or the attachment part and a unitary securing section is connected to the attachment part or the handle part. The holding section surrounds with lateral play in all directions the securing section on all sides so that a damping space is generated between the securing section and the holding section. The damping element fills out the damping space at least partially.
