Patent number: 9555230Abstract: A port for a catheter includes a housing, a chamber arranged in the housing for receiving a medically active substance, a connecting piece for connecting the catheter to produce a flow connection between the chamber and the catheter, and at least one lever, mounted to be pivotable about a pivot axis and realized to allow the catheter to be fitted onto the connecting piece in a first pivot position and to hold the catheter in a clamping manner on the connecting piece in a second pivot position. The at least one lever has different first and second portions. The first portion carries a latching device for latching the at least one lever with the housing and/or with a first portion of a further lever in the second pivot position. The second portion has a clamping device for holding the catheter in the clamping manner in the second pivot position.Type: GrantFiled: February 24, 2014Date of Patent: January 31, 2017Assignee: Fresenius Kabi Deutschland GmbHInventors: Christoph Jochum, Martina Papiorek, Rainer Schumacher, Hans Haindl, Markus Kämereit, Klaus Kleve

Patent number: 8262629Abstract: The invention relates to a catheter port for supplying an active substance to an active site which is distant from the port. According to the invention, the housing (1) of the port is designed to have two parts, an upper housing part (7) and a lower housing part (6). The upper housing part (7) holds an insertion part (10) in a clamping manner in a housing recess (8) of the lower housing part (6), wherein a chamber (11) is arranged in said insertion part for receiving the active substance with the interpositioning of a punctured membrane (17) that can be pierced with an injection cannula. While the insertion part (10) and the chamber (11) can be manufactured from a material resistant to the active substance, preferably a heavier ceramics, the upper and lower housing parts may consist of a lighter biocompatible plastic material. It is advantageous that the patient only comes into contact with the upper and lower housing parts made of a biocompatible plastic material and not with the insertion part.Type: GrantFiled: October 4, 2007Date of Patent: September 11, 2012Assignee: Fresenius Kabi Deutschland GmbHInventors: Marcel Oster, Rainer Schumacher

Publication number: 20100159167Abstract: The present invention relates to a polypropylene sheet having a peeling layer that is well-suited to bond detachably to coated or uncoated fibrous substrates. The peeling layer comprises a combination of polypropylene, preferably between 20% and 70%, and a polyolefinic plastomer having a density of 0.85 to 0.89 g/cm3, preferably between 30 and 80%, that meets this requirement without further additives such as bonding enhancers, inorganic fillers or polar polymers.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 21, 2009Publication date: June 24, 2010Inventor: Rainer SCHUMACHER

Patent number: 7533909Abstract: A tube connection device for connecting motor vehicle tubes, a tube having a front element on at least one end, this front element being equipped with a frontal sealing surface. A fitting enclosing the tube is provided, which presses the frontal sealing surface against a connection surface of a connection element. At least one separate pressure element, which at least partially surrounds the tube, is provided between fitting and front element. The fitting acts on the front element through the pressure element and the sealing surface is pressed against the connection surface in this way.Type: GrantFiled: July 26, 2005Date of Patent: May 19, 2009Assignee: TI Automotive (Heidelberg) GmbHInventors: Andreas Sausner, Uwe Fiedler, Rainer Schumacher, Ralf Zahn
