  • Patent number: 4624360
Abstract: A method and apparatus for slipping tubes on pegs carried on a transport belt which extends along a spinning machine or twisting machine. A slipping-on apparatus for said tubes is located above the transport belt and inserts the tubes on the pegs. A sensing device monitors the seating of the tubes on the pegs and a lifting off device removes the tubes that are improperly seated on the pegs. After an improperly seated tube is removed from the peg, another tube is inserted thereon.

  • Patent number: 4472934
Abstract: In a pneumatic gripper for bobbin changer devices with an elastically deformable collar in the gripper housing, the gripper housing (2) and the collar (3) are of bell-shaped construction. The collar (3) is inserted into the gripper housing (2). The collar (3) overlaps the edge (20) of the gripper housing (2) and is pressed airtightly against the edge (20) by means of a screw collar ring (4). The gripper can be produced with a simple construction and cheaply and retains the cop with directional stability.

  • Patent number: 4398385
Abstract: A pivotable spindle mounting provided on a machine frame such as a wrap spinning machine that has a spindle mounted on a pivotable arm. The pivotable arm is mounted on a support bolt. A stud is carried on the support bolt and extends through a slide provided in a bushing that is rotated, the pivotable arm with the spindle thereon is rotated beneath a cover and upon a counter-force engaging the pivotable arm, the pivotable motion of the arm and spindle is converted to a lifting motion wherein the top of the spindle is positioned closely adjacent an opening in a cover.

  • Patent number: 4387556
Abstract: An apparatus for lifting a bobbin set up on a spindle of a textile machine, in particular a wrap spinning machine characterized in that at least an end of the bobbin remote from the free end of a spindle has a ring of electrically conductive, non-ferromagnetic material. The ring is arranged with its end face opposite a magnetic coil which can be connected to a current source supplying alternating current.
