    Abstract: A drilling tool has two main cutting edges each with an arcuate course at least in sections. The main cutting edges are connected to one another via a chisel cutting edge. The drill tool further has a drill face side, a drill longitudinal axis about which the drilling tool can be rotated in a rotational direction, a drill tip which lies on the drill longitudinal axis, two flutes which run along the drill longitudinal axis, webs which are formed between the flutes and form a land on the circumferential side, and a point thinning portion which is made in the drill face side.
