  • Patent number: 11834080
Abstract: A passenger transport vehicle, such as a rail vehicle, has at least one sanitary module and at least one fan for conveying waste air from the sanitary module. A control unit controls the volumetric flow of waste air from the sanitary module. The control unit is formed for at least two volumetric flows of waste air, which differ from one another and differ from zero. The volumetric flows are conveyed by the at least one fan, at least on the basis of a state of the sanitary module.

  • Publication number: 20170307257
Abstract: An electric heating device for emitting a heated air flow, in particular for a sanitary room or washroom in a rail-borne vehicle, includes an air duct, a fan generating the air flow, a heating element heating the air flow and a first over-temperature switch. The first over-temperature switch can reversibly switch off the heating element when a first over-temperature is exceeded. A second over-temperature switch can irreversibly switch off the heating element when a second over-temperature is exceeded. The second over-temperature switch is disposed in a recess, depression or opening formed in the air duct. The second over-temperature switch has a disconnect or isolating switch to be thermally triggered for switching off the heating element. The thermally triggered disconnect or isolating switch can be triggered by a glass sphere or bead that breaks when the second over-temperature is exceeded.

  • Publication number: 20150020907
Abstract: A water outlet for a sanitary system on a rail vehicle includes a water outlet pipe and a heating device for protecting the water outlet pipe from frost. The heating device is guided from outside into an end piece of the water outlet pipe and therefore is at least partially arranged in the interior space of the end piece.
