    Abstract: The present invention provides a portable compression device (10) for selectively applying a compressive force to a limb of a user (50). The device includes one or more inflatable bladders (18, 20, 22) and a pumping means (24, 26, 28) for selectively inflating and deflating each bladder thereby selectively applying an inwardly directed compressive force to the limb. The one or more inflatable bladders and the pumping means are disposed on a base assembly (12).
