Patent number: 10142322Abstract: A network configuration having various network elements and user equipments configured to authenticate web access requests is disclosed. Upon receipt of web addresses from various subscribers, the web addresses such as online advertisements are stored in a memory. The network traffic in the communication network is monitored in accordance with the web addresses stored in the memory. After detecting a website assess request such as a click of an online advertisement, an authentication record which authenticates the origin of the network equipment issuing the request. The authentication record is forwarded to a subscription partner via a predefined messaging mechanism.Type: GrantFiled: December 30, 2013Date of Patent: November 27, 2018Assignee: TELLABS, INC.Inventors: Santhosh Kumar Thodupunoori, Senthil Raja Velu, Sridharan Muthuswamy

Patent number: 8965362Abstract: A method and apparatus for network accessing configured to prefix filtering one or more wildcard identity for an International Mobile Subscriber Identity (“IMSI”) application is disclosed. Upon receiving a request of a new rule with system identification (“SID”) for network access, a process of wildcard prefixing is able to identify a wildcard in a predefined field of the SID. The SID, in one example, is an IMSI. After retrieving a specific prefix in accordance with the wildcard, the wildcard is replaced with the specific prefix in the predefined field of the SID to form a modified rule. The predefined field of the SID can be a field for mobile country code (“MCC”), mobile network code (“MNC”), or mobile subscriber identification number (“MSIN”). The process subsequently inserts the modified rule into a memory structure.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 2011Date of Patent: February 24, 2015Assignee: WiChorusInventors: Santhosh Kumar Thodupunoori, Senthil Raja Velu, Sridharan Muthuswamy

Patent number: 8811344Abstract: A method and apparatus for assigning the same sequence number (“SN”) to multiple messages using a global index pool and non-standard source ports (“NSPs”) are disclosed. After generating a global index pool containing multiple indexes, the process, in one embodiment, generates a set of NSPs for a network device. Upon creating a first SN for a general packet radio service tunneling protocol (“GTP”) message between peer-to-peer communications, the SN is stored in a first field of a first index. The process subsequently inserts a socket address used for indexing or addressing one of the NSPs in a second field of the first index.Type: GrantFiled: January 20, 2012Date of Patent: August 19, 2014Assignee: WiChorus, Inc.Inventors: Sridharan Muthuswamy, Logan L. Bauer, Santhosh Kumar Thodupunoori, Senthil Raja Velu

Patent number: 8296177Abstract: A method of generating an aggregated forecasting landscape for a particular advertiser's bidded term constructs standardized forecasting landscapes for each marketplace, rescales, by the advertiser's clickability in the respective marketplace, each of the standardized landscapes corresponding to the previous appearance of the advertiser's ad in that marketplace and whose appearance was attributed to the bidded term, and adds together the rescaled landscapes, thereby giving the advertiser a more accurate representation of how many total clicks he can expect for his advertisement as a function of how much he is willing/able to pay. In particular, estimation variance is reduced by introducing rank into the construction of the standardized landscapes, which increases the accuracy of the calculations.Type: GrantFiled: February 20, 2008Date of Patent: October 23, 2012Assignee: Yahoo! Inc.Inventors: Ilya Gluhovsky, Raja Velu, Anantharaman Nagarajan

Publication number: 20090006431Abstract: A system and method is provided for identifying the source of an unauthorized database disclosure. The system and method stores a plurality of past database queries and determines the relevance of the results of the past database queries (query results) to a sensitive table containing the unauthorized disclosed data. The system and method also ranks the past database queries based on the determined relevance. A list of the most relevant past database queries can then be generated which are ranked according to the relevance, such that the highest ranked queries on the list are most similar to said disclosed data. Three techniques used in embodiments of the invention include partial tuple matching, statistical linkage and deviation probability gain.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 29, 2007Publication date: January 1, 2009Applicant: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Rakesh Agrawal, Alexandre V. Evfimievski, Gerald Kiernan, Raja Velu
