  • Publication number: 20240272688
Abstract: Techniques described herein may be used for reducing the usage of sensors during thermal throttling in storage devices. A memory of a storage device may store map tables, each map table associated with a type of host command, each map table including entries, each entry corresponding to an initial temperature level and characteristics of a host command, and each entry indicating a change in temperature relative to the initial temperature level. A controller of the storage device may monitor operations for commands from the host system, obtain an initial temperature value from one or more temperature sensors, select entries from the map tables, based on characteristics of the operations and the initial temperature value, predict a current temperature based on the one or more entries, and in accordance with a determination that the current temperature exceeds a predetermined threshold, trigger one or more corrective actions for thermal throttling.

  • Publication number: 20240248466
Abstract: Methods and systems for process chamber qualification for maintenance process endpoint detection are provided. Data collected by one or more sensors of a process chamber of a manufacturing system is identified. The identified data is collected during performance of initial maintenance operation(s) of a maintenance process. A current state of the process chamber is determined, based on the identified data, after the performance of the initial maintenance operation(s) based on the identified data. In response to a determination that the current state does not satisfy one or more chamber maintenance criteria, a set of subsequent maintenance operations to be performed to cause the current state of the process chamber to satisfy the criteria is identified. Performance of the set of subsequent maintenance operations is initiated at the process chamber.

  • Patent number: 12034542
Abstract: A reliable wireless communication system needs good wireless signal detection and interference management. Traditional thinking for interference management mostly relies on interference cancellation or receiver design. In such a design, an interference issue occurs when a receiver is incapable of handling it. Various interference management embodiments are presented in the disclosure. Using HARQ retransmission incorporated with parameter changes, interference management may be improved through interference source control for more effective signal detection and interference management. Additionally, early termination parameters for decoding operation may be learned and implemented separately or jointly with HARQ retransmission. Furthermore, estimated interference power may be improved using machine-learning algorithm based on decoding statistics of the decoder.

  • Publication number: 20240223858
Abstract: Systems and methods for, while a user is consuming a first media asset, generating for the user a recommendation of a second media asset based on a viewing history of the user. In some aspects, the systems and methods determine that a user is consuming only video of a first media asset, determine a first category for the first media asset, and retrieve a viewing history corresponding to the user. The viewing history comprises media assets consumed simultaneously with a media asset corresponding to the first category. The systems and methods select a second category corresponding to a highest number of media assets in the viewing history, select a second media asset based on the second category. Alternatively, the user can select the second media asset manually. The systems and methods generate for output the audio of the second media asset for simultaneous consumption with the video of the first media asset.

  • Publication number: 20240205309
Abstract: System and method embodiments are disclosed for scalable open radio access network (O-RAN) fronthaul traffic processing for distributed unit and radio unit. The system may be placed in an O-DU or an O-RU as a scalable O-RAN fronthaul traffic processing unit. O-RAN fronthaul traffic processing may be implemented in unified architecture with hardware-software (HW-SW) interaction in the form of Rx/Tx input descriptors and Rx/Tx output status descriptors. In the transmit direction, fronthaul packets are created with eCPRI header from a symbol memory where RB allocations are stored. In the receive path, from an ingress queues of Ethernet, resource block allocations are created and stored in the symbol memory. The discloses HW-SW interaction mechanism may be agnostic to cores of different architectures, support both RU and DU modes, and provides multiple transport encapsulation formats with scalability to meet various fronthaul traffic processing requirements.

  • Patent number: 12015687
Abstract: A method of electronic communication via a virtual network function (NFV) implementation of a core network. The method comprises receiving a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) content request from a user equipment (UE), wherein the HTTP content request comprises an identification of a content source and determining by an orchestrator service that insufficient NFV processing capacity is available to perform the HTTP content request, where the orchestrator service is an application that executes on a first physical host. The method further comprises dynamically increasing the NFV processing capacity by the orchestrator service, performing the HTTP content request using the increased NFV processing capacity, and returning a HTTP content response to the UE, wherein the HTTP content response does not comprise identification of the content source.
