  • Publication number: 20060236872
Abstract: A flatbread making machine comprised of a manually loaded flour bin and a manually loaded water tank. A flour and a water dispenser. A pair of batch mode devices each of which performs the actions of a mixer and a dispensing pump. An endless sheet of dough extruder discharging vertically downward onto an inclined hot plate. A hot plate vibrator. A second inclined hot plate. A tension-limiting means including a light sensor and a pair of rollers which passes the sheet either through a cutter and batch-gathering means or through a serrator followed by a vertical pass through oven and then through a cutter and batch-gathering means.

  • Publication number: 20040060722
Abstract: A boardlock (10, 10′) for securely mounting an electrical connector (1, 1′) onto a board (9, 9′) includes a housing retention portion (20), a pair of arms (30) extending from the housing retention portion, and a pair of legs (40) projecting from the arms and extending away from each other. The pair of arms each have a bowed portion (32) formed at respective distal ends thereof and the bowed portion is configured as a bow. The pair of legs each form a tip portion (41) for abutting against a bottom of the board. A diameter of a hole (91, 91′) of the board, in which the boardlock is received, is larger than a distance between the two tip portions of the legs, while smaller than a distance between the two bowed portions.

  • Patent number: 6644995
Abstract: An electrical connector (100) for insertion of a daughter printed circuit board (PCB) (200) includes an insulative housing (10), a number of terminals (20) received in the housing, and a sliding guide (30) movably retained in the insulative housing. The insulative housing defines a receiving slot (11) for receiving the sliding guide. Each terminal includes a contacting portion (22) for connecting with the daughter PCB. The daughter PCB is inserted into a receiving recess (34) defined in the sliding guide and pushes the sliding guide forwardly for driving the terminal to engage/disengage with the daughter PCB.

  • Patent number: 6305978
Abstract: A low profile mini coaxial cable connector 100 includes a contact set 10, a cable set 20, a grounding plate 30 a dielectric housing 40 and a metal shell 50. The contact set 10, the cable set 20 and the grounding plate 30 are fixedly accommodated in the housing 40 and the metal shell 50 encloses the housing 40. The metal shell 50 has two grounding tabs 513 electrically contacting the grounding plate 30. The metal shell 50 has an upper flap 51, a lower flap 52 and two side flaps 54, which extend from the upper flap 51 and which do not engage with but whose lower edges 541 are flush with side edges 523 of the lower flap 52. The housing 40 forms two buds 418 on two side surfaces thereof and each of the two side flaps 54 of the metal shell 50 defines a notch 517 which fixedly engages with a corresponding bud 418 of the housing 40 thereby reliably maintaining the metal shell 50 on the housing 40 and developing adequate normal force between the grounding tabs 513 and the grounding plate 30.

  • Patent number: 6299478
Abstract: A locking device comprises a plug portion and a receptacle portion. The plug portion comprises a cylindrical body defining a central cavity. A plurality of ribs radially project from an outer periphery of the body. Each rib has an interface at a free edge thereof distant from the cavity. The receptacle portion comprises an outer wall defining a circular chamber therein. A protrusion protrudes upwardly from a bottom of the chamber to an opening thereof. A blind hole is defined in the protrusion and does not extend through an upper free end portion of the protrusion. A distance between the interfaces of two opposite ribs is slightly larger than a bore diameter of the chamber. The cavity has a bore diameter equal to an outer diameter of the protrusion. In assembly, the plug portion is inserted into the receptacle portion whereby the protrusion enters into the cavity and the ribs enter into the chamber.

  • Patent number: 6203345
Abstract: A flexible circuit connector includes a housing defining an interior space for receiving a flexible circuit. Conductive contacts are retained in the housing, each having a concave portion extending into the interior space for electrically engaging the flexible circuit. An actuator pivotally attached to the housing for being moveable between an open position where an opening is formed between the actuator and the housing for insertion of the flexible circuit into the housing and a closed position where the actuator engages and thus securely retains the circuit board in the housing. The contacts are arranged to have the concave portions thereof substantially aligned with a rotational axis of the actuator for reducing coupling force required for moving the actuator from the open position to the closed position. At least one inspection window is defined in the housing in communication with the interior space for visual inspection of the flexible circuit received in the housing.

  • Patent number: 5395251
Abstract: A retainer system for holding a board (14) with active electrical components in an electrical connector assembly includes a boss (50,66) secured to the housing (48,64,84) of the connector assembly, with the boss having an elongated slot (52,68) open toward the other end of the housing. The slot is sized so that one end of the board is receivable therein with sufficient clearance to allow pivoting motion of the board toward and away from the housing about that one end within the slot. At the other end of the connector assembly housing is a retainer (54,72,82,100). After the one end of the board is inserted into the slot and the board is pivoted toward the housing, the retainer overlies the opposed end of the board.
