    Abstract: A method of removing gaseous byproducts from a gas stream includes generating via at least one partial-combustion device a gas stream that includes gaseous byproducts. The method also includes channeling the gas stream from the at least one partial-combustion device to a fluid compression device that is configured to increase a pressure of the gas stream. The method further includes channeling the gas stream to a gaseous byproducts removal system to absorb at least a portion of the gaseous byproducts from the gas stream using a solvent. The method also includes discharging at least a portion of the gaseous byproducts from the gaseous byproducts removal system.
