  • Publication number: 20230259648
Abstract: In some aspects, a gateway server can unlock or unfreeze access to data about a user by third parties without requiring the user to navigate completely away from a third-party website through which the user is executing an electronic transaction. The gateway server can receive a request to unlock or unfreeze data through the third-party website hosted by a third-party web server. The gateway server can output a user interface that is displayable simultaneously with the third-party website. Through the user interface, the gateway server can receive sign-in data such as log-in credentials of the user and consent to share data about the user with the third-party web server. The gateway server can output a command to unlock or unfreeze data about the user and to share the data with the third-party web server. Based on the shared data, the transaction can be completed at the third-party web server.

  • Patent number: 11692494
Abstract: An engine vibration monitoring and control system includes an aircraft autopilot and a flight management system (FMS). The FMS is in operable communication with the aircraft autopilot and is configured to determine when the aircraft autopilot is engaged and disengaged. The FMS is also adapted to receive vibration data from an engine vibration data source and is configured, upon determining that the aircraft autopilot is engaged, to: process the vibration data to determine when engine vibrations exceed one or more first thresholds, and when the engine vibrations exceed the one or more first thresholds, supply commands to the autopilot that cause the autopilot to take corrective actions to reduce the engine vibrations below the one or more first thresholds.

  • Publication number: 20220372335
Abstract: An adhesive tape is disclosed that can simplify the process of pasting a torn, cut off, additional piece of material into its position. The adhesive tape comprising a strip that comprises of flaps made up of flexible material extending radially from a common axis along the length of the strip. The surfaces of the flap are either both adhesive surfaces or one adhesive surface and another is non-adhesive surface. The invention provides a removable layer which protects an adhesive quality of the adhesive surface on which corresponding removable layer is pasted. The invention also provides a method of easily tracing the removable layer which is pasted onto the tape which relates to the method to know the approximate/exact amount of tape left in a roll.

  • Publication number: 20200093967
Abstract: Implantable devices disclosed herein may be configured to modulate the localized pH at an implantation site of the implantable device. By controlling, modulating, or otherwise adjusting the localized pH, various benefits can be achieved, such as controlling cell proliferation. The implantable device may include a body and one or more metallic features. Generally, the implantable device forms a galvanic cell such that a first metallic feature is configured to be preferentially oxidized to alter the localized pH environment in the vicinity of the implantable device.

  • Patent number: 9875283
Abstract: A method includes generating data from workforce applications, at least one of the workforce applications including at least one of forecasting, scheduling, recording, and monitoring functionalities; and storing the data from the at least one of the workforce applications in a storage area network (SAN), the SAN being operable to connect the at least one of the workforce applications to computer storage devices. This may also include keeping recorded contacts in a long term storage device such as the SAN or an operational data store (ODS) and transparently searching in both the ODS and the SAN simultaneously. With a concept of moving data on to a file system SAN which is cheaper as compared to a database technology such as ODS, the method facilitates predictable performance from the ODS and easier manageability with constant cost from SAN.

  • Publication number: 20150233907
Abstract: A microfluidic chip and compatible bio-sensor are provided to detect and/or quantify an analyte in a sample fluid, and preferably to simultaneously quantify multiple analyte(s) in a sample fluid volume. A fluid volume containing microbeads is flowed through an elongate planar sample chamber of the microfluidic chip. Microbead traps or barriers in the sample chamber retain the microbeads. The sample fluid volume is Excitation flowed through the sample chamber. A conjugate specific to the analyte is and labeled with a fluorophore is introduced into the sample chamber. In the biosensor, an excitation wavelength is directed parallel to the plane of the sample chamber. Any fluorescent emissions from the sample chamber are detected in a direction substantially orthogonal to the plane of the sample chamber by a photodetector, and correlated to an amount or concentration length of sample chamber of analyte in the sample fluid volume.

  • Publication number: 20140370616
Abstract: The invention is directed to a method for detecting analytes, particularly vitamins, using a lateral flow immunoassay. The method may be used to detect vitamin D, particularly 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 or 1,25-dihydroxy vitamin D3. The method involves obtaining a fluid sample from a subject; applying the sample to a lateral flow test strip comprising a conjugate pad capable of releasing a labelled antibody against vitamin D, and a detection membrane comprising a first capture reagent specific to the antibody and immobilized on a test band; and detecting the presence or absence of vitamin D in the sample. The presence of a detectable signal in the test band is indicative of vitamin D deficiency.
