  • Publication number: 20240005177
Abstract: Monitoring may be performed for time series prediction models. Data to generate a new time series forecast may be received. A determination may be made that the data is associated with a previously generated time series forecast by a machine learning model. Performance metrics may be generated for the machine learning model according to a comparison of the data with the previously generated time series forecast. The performance metrics can then be provided for further analysis and action.

  • Patent number: 11601832
Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for delaying packet transmissions over a wireless communication channel until a more favorable channel condition is detected. A device may measure a channel metric when it receives periodic beacon signals. The device may compare the channel metric against a programmed metric threshold. If the channel metric is less than the metric threshold, the device may delay the transmission of a packet until a later transmission window or transmit opportunity (TXOP) when the channel metric rises above the metric threshold, indicating the presence of a more favorable condition for transmission, or until a preconfigured timeout period elapses before the more favorable condition is found.

Abstract: A machine learning model including an autoencoder may be trained based on training data that includes sequences of non-anomalous performance metrics from an information technology system but excludes sequences of anomalous performance metrics. The trained machine learning model may process a sequence of performance metrics from the information technology system by generating an encoded representation of the sequence of performance metrics and generating, based on the encoded representation, a reconstruction of the sequence of performance metrics. An occurrence of the anomaly at the information technology system may be detected based on a reconstruction error present in reconstruction of the sequence of performance metrics. • Publication number: 20220345422
Abstract: In an example, a network switch is configured to natively act as a high-speed load balancer. Numerous load-balancing techniques may be used, including one that bases the traffic “bucket” on a source IP address of an incoming packet. This particular technique provides a network administrator a powerful tool for shaping network traffic. For example, by assigning certain classes of computers on the network particular IP addresses, the network administrator can ensure that the traffic is load balanced in a desirable fashion. To further increase flexibility, the network administrator may apply a bit mask to the IP address, and expose only a portion, selected from a desired octet of the address.
