  • Patent number: 10387987
Abstract: An example implementation includes an apparatus including a processor to divide a digital image into a grid including a first grid region and a second grid region. The processor is also to generate a first grid-based watermark using shared watermark information and a first set of grid coordinates associated with the first grid region. The processor is further to generate a second grid-based watermark using the shared watermark information and a second set of grid coordinates associated with the second grid region. The processor is further to embed the first grid-based watermark into a first region of the digital image corresponding to the first grid region and to embed the second grid-based watermark into a second region of the digital image corresponding to the second grid region. The processor is further to generate a machine-readable digital image including the embedded first grid-based watermark and the embedded second grid-based watermark.

  • Patent number: 10387083
Abstract: Examples disclosed herein relate to generating a print format version with an overlaid machine-readable link. As an example, a set of machine-readable links assigned to a user account from a remote repository is obtained. In response to a print command associated with the user account, one machine-readable link from amongst the set of the machine-readable links is selected and applied onto a portion of the digital document. Thereafter, a print format version of the digital document along with the machine-readable link is generated.

  • Patent number: 9990165
Abstract: A system and method for cloud centric Web out-of-box print experience (WOOBPE) for Web connected printers are disclosed. In one example, a printer is registered with a cloud print service upon the printer coupling to a network. A WOOBPE application is then launched via a computing device to obtain a network identification (ID) of the printer. A user account is then created with WOOBPE service providers for a user of the printer upon obtaining printer specific information using the network ID. Printer email ID is then provided and the printer email ID is then activated and a test page is printed based on the printer specific information. The printer is then claimed by sending the printer specific information to the WOOBPE service providers for subscribing to one or more print services and associating the printer specific information with the created user account.
