Abstract: A method and system are provided to infer and use machine learning algorithms that is applied to financial data and also to determine: (i) compliance with the applied algorithms, and (ii) whether any exceptions to and/or variations from the algorithms are within an organization's norms. A method includes: receiving financial data; applying a set of dynamic or interdependent algorithms to the received financial data to obtain a set of outcomes; and using a machine learning classifier to classify the outcomes as: (i) algorithm compliant, (ii) potentially algorithm non-compliant, or (iii) algorithm non-compliant. Additionally, the method includes generating controllership persona based actionable triggers, which on acceptance corrects the anomalies in financial data, enabling the method and system to perform as a comprehensive, contextual, consistent & machine learning powered, persona based real time controllership engine leading to reduced misstatements in reported financial data.

Abstract: Systems and methodologies for providing improved input and output capabilities for computing devices are provided herein. An output manager is provided that can determine an appropriate layout for a user interface at a display area based on size and shape parameters associated with the display area. The output manager can additionally sense alterations to the display area and dynamically adjust a determined layout based on the sensed alterations. Further, the output manager can facilitate the connection of an associated device to one or more external display devices to facilitate the combined use of the external display devices and resident display areas at the associated device. An input manager is additionally provided that can obtain input from a target user by sensing patterns associated with the target user and select an appropriate input based on the sensed patterns.

Abstract: Methods and systems of authoring XML using DHTML views and XSLT are described. Various user interfaces can be automatically or semi-automatically provided in a DHTML view that enable a user to interact with the DHTML view. The interfaces, some of which are termed “in document” interfaces, permit a user to interact with a DHTML view and have those interactions automatically made to a corresponding XML document that describes data that is associated with the DHTML view.
