Abstract: A safety I/O module includes a plurality of output channels and a plurality of channel output terminals. The safety module further includes a multi-channel high side switch comprising an integrated circuit including a voltage input terminal and a plurality of main switches. A plurality of discrete safety switches are also provided. Each of the output channels includes a redundant pair of switches including one of the main switches of the multi-channel high side switch and one of the safety switches arranged in series. The main switch and the safety switch are configured to: (i) operably connect the voltage input terminal of the multi-channel high side switch to a respective one of the channel output terminals when both the main switch and the safety switch are in a conductive state; and (ii) disconnect the voltage input terminal of the multi-channel high side switch from the respective one of the channel output terminals when at least one of the main switch and the safety switch are in a non-conductive state.

  • Patent number: 11763059
Abstract: A defect map may be created by merging defects at locations on multiple dies that include copies of an integrated circuit (IC). Layout shapes or nets may be determined that overlap with the defects in the defect map. Next, connectivity between the layout shapes or nets may be determined. The defects may then be grouped into defect groups based on the connectivity between the layout shapes or nets, where each defect group comprises defects that overlap with layout shapes or nets that are electrically connected to each other.

  • Patent number: 9943685
Abstract: According to aspects of the present disclosure, an implantable electrical system may include an implantable pulse generator with a bore sized to receive an electrical lead, with an engagement mechanism that does not require the use of set screws to secure the lead within the bore. The engagement mechanism may include a deformable component that may be moved or deformed to allow entry of the lead into the bore, and then moved or deformed again to engage a surface of the lead to secure the lead within the bore. The engagement mechanism may allow rotation of the lead within the bore while maintaining electrical connections between the generator and the lead. The engagement mechanism may also allow the securing and/or release of the lead relative to the bore without the need to manipulate a set screw or breach a seal of the generator.
