  • Publication number: 20200157306
Abstract: A method of forming an isocyanate-functional polymer component includes forming a first mixture by mixing a recycled polyurethane article and a first isocyanate component having isocyanate-functional groups. The first mixture is heated to a temperature sufficient to transform the recycled polyurethane article from a solid form to a liquid form and react the liquid recycled polyurethane component with the first isocyanate component to form an isocyanate-functional polymer component having an isocyanate-functional group content greater than zero and less than isocyanate-functional group content of the first isocyanate component. The formed isocyanate-functional polymer component may then be used for forming a polyurethane article or polyurethane foam article that is the reaction product of the formed isocyanate-functional polymer component, a second isocyanate component and an isocyanate-reactive component having hydroxyl-functional groups.

  • Publication number: 20200163147
Abstract: In this invention, we disclose methods for enabling ad hoc cellular base station functionality within a user equipment when the connection quality between a base station and the user equipment is limited or nonexistent. These methods include measuring a connection quality between a user equipment and its serving base station. If the connection quality is below a threshold, the user equipment can enable its internal ad hoc cellular base station functionality. This is done by running a software within the user equipment that (a) checks the connection quality periodically, and (b) enables ad hoc cellular base station functionality of the connection threshold dips below a certain value. In one embodiment, that threshold could be the same threshold value that a user equipment would use if it were making a decision to handoff to another base station based on poor connection quality.

  • Publication number: 20200159853
Abstract: From a first attribute-value pair in a record, new data comprising a first token is created. From each token using a processor and a memory, new data including a corresponding vector is computed. From the record, a target row is selected, wherein a target attribute-value pair in the target row includes a value requiring correction. Using a similarity measure, a set of most similar rows to the target row is determined, wherein each row in the set of most similar rows to the target row has a corresponding similarity measure above a threshold similarity measure and wherein each row in the set of most similar rows includes the target attribute. From values corresponding to the target attribute in the set of most similar rows, a replacement value is determined. The value requiring correction in the target row is replaced with the replacement value.

  • Publication number: 20200157430
Abstract: The present technology is generally directed to systems and methods for optimizing the burn profiles for coke ovens, such as horizontal heat recovery ovens. In various embodiments the burn profile is at least partially optimized by controlling air distribution in the coke oven. In some embodiments, the air distribution is controlled according to temperature readings in the coke oven. In particular embodiments, the system monitors the crown temperature of the coke oven. After the crown reaches a particular temperature range the flow of volatile matter is transferred to the sole flue to increase sole flue temperatures throughout the coking cycle. Embodiments of the present technology include an air distribution system having a plurality of crown air inlets positioned above the oven floor.

  • Patent number: 10657073
Abstract: A driver module framework enables the creation and execution of drivers. The modules in a driver compatible with the framework can expose data structures, device driver specific programming patterns, devices, or hardware buses. The modules share a common interface and can include callback functions, public methods, private methods, attributes, a module-specific configuration, and a private context. Driver-specific code in a driver can cause the framework to instantiate the modules and can consume functionality provided by the modules contained therein. The framework can also enforce the use of good programming practices, including preventing the use of improper module dependencies and enforcing data hiding. The framework can also provide callbacks received from an operating system to all of the modules in a driver, which allows modules to be fully self-contained and easily reusable.
