    Abstract: A method and system for monitoring operations of a machine operating at a worksite, is provided. The machine includes an implement for performing one or more implement operations and is powered by an engine. The method includes determining a first parameter corresponding to an engine speed associated with the engine, a second parameter indicative of vibrations detected inside the operator cabin and a third parameter indicative of a machine speed associated with the machine. The method further includes determining a machine operation as one of the loading operation, the dumping operation and a travelling operation based on one or more of the determined first parameter, second parameter and the third parameter.
