  • Publication number: 20250120610
Abstract: Examples provide a system and method for continuous respiratory rate monitoring with greater accuracy and reliability. Sensor data is obtained from a wearable sensor device simultaneously generating both multi-wavelength photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor data as well as inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensor data, such as respiratory body movement data generated by an accelerometer and/or a gyroscope. The system performs signal processing and filtering on the sensor data using a set of rules and threshold(s) to remove Mayer-wave in-band noise, transients, and motion artifacts. PPG-based respiratory rate estimates are generated and combined into a single PPG-based respiratory rate estimate based on the PPG sensor data. IMU-based respiratory rate estimates are generated and combined in parallel using the IMU sensor data to generate a single IMU-based respiratory rate estimate.

  • Publication number: 20250108512
Abstract: This disclosure relates to system and method to reconstruct human motion for mobile robot teleoperation using shared control. The method of the present disclosure acquire an input feed of a human operator to perform a task with assistance in a remote environment using shared control. The mobile robot reconstructs to follow a trajectory of the human operator towards the intended goal in the remote environment. The mobile robot determines at least one goal intended by the human operator based on a previously occurred state, a current kinematic state and a future trajectory of the human operator and a known position of the plurality of goals. The model predictive control generates at least one instruction to control the movement of the mobile robot to perform at least one of following the trajectory of the human operator and reaching the operator intended goal based on a joint angle position and a velocity.

  • Publication number: 20230222566
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing an item resolution service. Users may add entries to an electronic list (e.g., a grocery list), via voice input, text message, or other input to a mobile, desktop, or web application. The list entries may contain general descriptions (e.g., “milk,” “eggs,” “bread,” etc.) that can be associated with various items available from various suppliers. The item resolution service may determine, for individual list entries, a specific item based on factors such as the user who created the entry, the order or browsing history of that user, the geographic location of another user (e.g., a user who is currently located at a particular grocery store), or other factors. The list entries may thus be converted to items in an electronic shopping cart, which may then be ordered for delivery, in-store pickup, or presented in a manner that facilitates acquiring the items in person.

  • Patent number: 11412990
Abstract: Techniques for determining reliability of electrocardiogram (ECG) data are disclosed. ECG data, including waveform data for a patient, is received. An amplitude associated with an R-wave in the waveform data is determined. First and second baseline regions in the waveform data, each relating to the R-Wave, are identified. A signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is determined, based on the amplitude, the first baseline region, and the second baseline region. The SNR facilitates medical treatment for the patient.

  • Publication number: 20220013240
Abstract: Techniques for classifying cardiac events in electrocardiogram (ECG) data. A feature set is generated by analyzing ECG data for a patient using a first phase in a machine learning architecture. A first cardiac event in the ECG data is classified based on the feature set, using the first phase in the machine learning architecture. A second cardiac event in the ECG data is classified based on the classified first cardiac event and the feature set, using a second phase in the machine learning architecture. The second cardiac event overlaps at least partially in time with the first cardiac event. Further, a plurality of feature sets, corresponding to a plurality channels of ECG data, are generated using paths in a machine learning architecture. A cardiac event in the ECG data is classified using the machine learning architecture based on the plurality of feature sets.

  • Patent number: 10795894
Abstract: In an example embodiment, a first set of results from first search results are displayed in a user interface. A plurality of facets, including selectable filters, of the first search results are displayed. A sampling scheme is retrieved, with the sampling scheme defining a first sampling rate for a first number of search results and a second sampling rate for a second number of search results. The first search results are traversed using the sampling scheme, sampling search results for the first number of search results at the first sampling rate and sampling search results for the second number of search results at the second sampling rate, for each sampled search result, causing an increase in a facet count for a facet and/or selectable filter having a matching value in the sampled search result. Facet counts for each of the facets and/or selectable filters are displayed in the user interface.

  • Patent number: 10492730
Abstract: Techniques for determining reliability of electrocardiogram (ECG) data are disclosed. ECG data, including waveform data relating to a detected heartbeat for a patient, is received. A peak amplitude associated with an R-wave in the waveform data is determined. First and second baseline regions in the waveform data are identified. The first baseline region precedes the R-wave and the second baseline region follows the R-wave. A signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is determined, based on the peak amplitude, the first baseline region, and the second baseline region. A confidence metric relating to the waveform data is determined, based on the determined SNR. The confidence metric is used in medical treatment related to the patient.

  • Publication number: 20170004531
Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are methods, systems, and machine readable mediums which allow for fast and efficient advertisement selection using search indices. Selection criteria of the advertisement campaigns are converted into documents using a conversion schema. The documents are then indexed to create an advertising campaign index. Member profile data is then converted into a member search query using the conversion schema. The member search query is then issued to a search engine which uses the advertising campaign index to find matching campaigns.

  • Patent number: 6463534
Abstract: A method of conducting transactions in a wireless electronic commerce system, where the system comprises a wireless network operator certification authority (400) having a root public key certificate and at least one attribute authority (404, 405, 406) having a digital certificate that is dependent from the root public key certificate. The attribute authority is accessible by a wireless client device (450, 452) via a wireless network. The digital certificate is delivered from the attribute authority to the wireless device, the attribute authority is verified to the wireless client device using the digital certificate and the root public key certificate pre-loaded in the wireless client device under authority of the wireless network operator. An attribute (software, service, right/permission or other content item) is delivered to the wireless client device over the wireless network and ultimately enabled at the wireless client device.
