  • Publication number: 20220166621
Abstract: An arrangement for encrypted exchange of personal medical and financial data comprises a mass enrollment center computing device, a subscriber computing device, a web platform server device, and a payment provider server device. The web platform server device creates a temporary link site with a temporary link site identifier and forwards the link site identifier to the mass enrollment center computing device and to the subscriber computing device. Pre-determined messages are exchanged between the mass enrollment center computing device and the subscriber computing device, using a computer memory link location for releasing health-related data to the subscriber computing device. The web platform server device, upon reception of a payment signal from the payment provider server device, automatically initiates a transmission of identity information data of at least one subject from the mass enrollment center computing device to the subscriber computing device.

  • Publication number: 20180343971
Abstract: The invention provides an apparatus and method for the prevention of VTE and related conditions to promote blood flow in a foot, the apparatus including: at least two inflatable bladders (20, 21) adapted to be disposed in use under the foot; and one or more pumps (31, 32) configured to repeatedly inflate and deflate the bladders with a fluid, applying compressive force to the foot in use.

  • Publication number: 20030165078
Abstract: A mixer for mixing a solid or an additional liquid into a liquid within a mixing vessel using a vortex action obviates direct application of the introduced solid or liquid with the downstream end of the vortex by bending the axis of rotation of the vortex. In one form this is effected by laterally offsetting a discharge outlet of the mixing vessel relative to the upper end portion of the vessel into which the liquid is introduced. The vortex within the vessel is maintained at a predetermined level by applying a static head to the liquid in the vessel. This is preferably achieved by maintaining a predetermined static head of mixture in an outer vessel into which the mixing vessel discharges.

  • Publication number: 20030098360
Abstract: A twin fluid centrifugal nozzle for a spray dryer comprises a holder (10) having an annular cavity (11) which holds a sealing ring (12). Above the sealing ring (12) is a large annular recess (13) and an annular passage (14) of slightly increased diameter. The large annular recess (13) seats an orifice disc (16). A vortex chamber block (17) and a twin fluid feed block (18), which are constructed as one piece, are located in the large passage (14). The twin fluid feed block (18) has a passage (19) for air or steam, and a fluid passage (20) for liquid. The orifice disc (16) is a release mechanism for the swirling liquid, in the form of a round disc with apertures therein, through which liquid discharges to form a spray. The swirl or vortex chamber (23) has cyclone shape. One or more atomised liquid inlet passage(s) (24) extend to the vortex chamber (23) in a substantially tangential entry relative to the generally circular cross-section of the chamber (23).
