  • Patent number: 11939895
Abstract: The invention relates to an internal combustion engine, comprising an intake path, a crankcase, an exhaust gas path and a crankcase ventilation means, wherein the crankcase ventilation means is open, closed or separate. The internal combustion engine according to the invention comprises an intake path, a crankcase, an exhaust gas path and an open crankcase ventilation means, wherein the open crankcase ventilation means comprises a first line and a second line, wherein the first line is designed to connect the exhaust gas path to the crankcase in order to guide exhaust gas out of the exhaust gas path to the crankcase, and wherein the second line is designed to connect the crankcase to the exhaust gas path in order to discharge exhaust gas and leakage gases located in the crankcase from the crankcase and to feed them to the exhaust gas path.

  • Patent number: 11028770
Abstract: The connecting rod head includes at least one oil chamber and an eccentric comprises a protrusion reaching into the oil chamber, so that an oil pressure in the oil chamber exerts a force on the protrusion to change the eccentric setting of the eccentric.

  • Publication number: 20090136166
Abstract: A combined roller- and slide bearing comprises at least one roller bearing having roller elements disposed between inner and outer bushings thereof and a slide bearing having a lubricating gap defined between inner and outer bushings thereof. The roller bearing and the slide bearing are disposed axially adjacent to each other and have the same rotational axis. The roller bearing and the slide bearing are configured such that the roller bearings elastically deform in response to a radially-acting load, thereby reducing the radial thickness of the lubricating gap in a circumferential portion thereof, because the outer bushing of the slide bearing radially shifts relative to the inner bushing of the slide bearing. In this state, the circumferential portion of the slide bearing having the reduced radial thickness undertakes a load-supporting and bearing function.
