  • Patent number: 12070454
Abstract: An improved anesthetic nerve block and method is disclosed comprising a local long acting anesthetic and a physiologic carbonate base. The local long acting anesthetic and the physiologic carbonate base are introduced to a living organism and adjacent to a nerve. The local long acting anesthetic and the physiologic carbonate base react to form a precipitated mass around the nerve for creating a local nerve block. The precipitated mass degrades into unionized local anesthetic which penetrates through the nerve membrane and into the axon for creating a prolonged local nerve block.

  • Patent number: 11890422
Abstract: An improved anesthetic nerve block and method is disclosed comprising a dispenser including a storage body, a transfer body and a tip for positioning adjacent to the nerve. A local short acting anesthetic is in the storage body. A physiologic carbonate base is in the storage body. The local short acting anesthetic and the physiologic carbonate base are dispensed from the tip of the dispenser where the local short acting anesthetic facilities the penetration of the physiologic carbonate base through the nerve membrane and into the axon. A local long acting anesthetic is in the storage body. The local long acting anesthetic is dispensed from the tip of the dispenser and penetrates through the nerve membrane and into the axon. The local long acting anesthetic and the physiologic carbonate base cause a precipitate and form a crystallization compound for creating a prolonged local nerve block.

  • Publication number: 20080066484
Abstract: A vest including inflatable tubes or chambers which receive cool air from a blower box. The vest includes an outer surface and inner surface, the two surfaces joined to define a multiplicity of tubes. The tubes carry jets which may vent cool air, received from a remote cool air blower box. The jets will ventilate the skin of the wearer both where it is exposed and where the skin is covered by the garment itself.

  • Patent number: 6971249
Abstract: A portable air chiller for providing air conditioning in a variety of environmental circumstances. The portable air chiller includes an insulated container capable of effectively containing a endothermic substrate, an in-flow vent and out-flow vent positioned to communicate air flow from the exterior of the container to the interior of the container. A fan located in the out flow vent facilitates conditioned air movement out of the interior of the portable air chiller. The interior of the portable air chiller houses a endothermic substrate holder which practically traverses the length and width of the interior.
