    Abstract: Hubcap (1) for a wheel (2) with a floating tyre seat, the said wheel (2) having a rim comprising a tyre seat (253) extended axially outwards by a flange (254), the tyre seats (253) being radially floating, the said hubcap comprising a central edge (11) and an exterior periphery (12), in which the said central edge (11) comprises fixing elements for attaching to the rigid part of the wheel and in which the said central edge (11) is connected to the said exterior periphery (12) by an intermediate sector that is deformable so that the exterior periphery (12) can be moved at least radially inwards with respect to the central edge (11).
