Abstract: A filter system extracts particles and/or drops of liquid from air flowing through the filter system. The filter system has a filter layer disposed in a plane and a cyclone collector that is disposed in the edge region of the filter layer. The cyclone collector is provided with a device which, compared with the filter layer, creates a higher flow speed and stronger vortexing of the circulating air. The cyclone collector can be produced from horizontal cyclone elements, curved, horizontal elements or from expanded metal.

Abstract: A kitchen extractor device includes a first body section, designed to be mounted in a fixed manner and a second body section, which can be displaced in a displacement direction in relation to the first body section. The kitchen extractor device comprehensively covers the cooking facilities but nevertheless can be easily cleaned. To achieve this, at least part of the second body section forms an external face of the body that is in transversal alignment with the displacement direction.

Abstract: A drawer/insertable container combination for a refrigerating appliance, including a drawer and a container that can be inserted into the drawer. The insertable container includes a container body and a handle that protrudes from the container body. The insertable container can be placed on the drawer in a position wherein the container body is located inside the drawer and the handle protrudes past the front side of the drawer.

Abstract: A shelf base for a refrigerator, the base including a plate and an upper and a lower retaining rail, running along an upper and a lower side of the plate. The upper and lower retaining rails mounting a support to house chilled goods. The retaining rails, connected in a unit, can be shifted along the transverse direction of the plate.

Abstract: An extractor hood including at least two separate receiving areas for receiving at least one section of an input module in a selective and removable manner. Further an input module for an electronically controlled domestic appliance, such as an extractor hood, including at least one switching element. The input module forms a separate unit of the domestic appliance and includes at least one contact device for bringing the input module into contact with at least one of several interfaces provided in the domestic appliance to transmit signals between the input module and the domestic appliance.
