  • Publication number: 20220399124
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention describes a risk indicator device for a CT-examination comprising a data interface configured to receive a dataset of a patient, the dataset comprising patient demographic data, data about previous treatments and data about medication of the patient; a risk indicator unit configured to evaluate a risk-probability for the CT-examination based on the patient demographic data, the data about the previous treatments and the data about the medication of the patient; and an output unit configured to output at least one of output information or control data based on the evaluated risk-probability. Embodiments of the present invention further describe a respective method, a related risk prediction model, a patient scheduler and a CT-system.

  • Publication number: 20220313197
Abstract: A medical imaging system includes a scanner, a control unit and at least one camera. A method for performing a medical workflow comprising a diagnostic scan of a body part of a patient with the medical imaging system includes: automatically monitoring the status of at least some of the system's components and transferring said status to the control unit; acquiring images of the patient with the at least one camera and interpreting the images by the control unit; determining scan parameters for the diagnostic scan based on the at least one aspect of the patient's condition or the status of the system's components; automatically determining a suitable amount of a contrast medium for the diagnostic scan or an administration time of the contrast medium with respect to the scan; and transferring the determined scan parameters from the control unit to the scanner for performing the diagnostic scan.

  • Publication number: 20220277497
Abstract: In a computer-implemented method of iteratively reconstructing images or a volume using deep learning and a computer-implemented method of training, projection filter parameter(s) of a projection (joint) bilateral filter, (J)BF, are automatically tuned by a first trained neural network based on data of projections of an imaging procedure. Volume filter parameter(s) of a volume (J)BF are automatically tuned by a second trained neural network based on data of a volume backward-projected from projections filtered by the projection (joint) bilateral filter using the automatically tuned projection filter parameter(s). A volume filtered by the volume (J)BF is output as the reconstructed images or volume, in case the filtered volume meets a predefined quality criterion.

  • Publication number: 20220096041
Abstract: A method includes provisioning an item of patient information of the patient via an interface; establishing, via a computing device, a first item of time information relating to a point in time of contrast enhancement by a contrast agent in at least one first subregion of the examination region based upon the item of patient information and by application of a trained function, at least one parameter of the trained function being adapted based upon a comparison between a first training item of time information based on a training item of patient information of a training patient and a first comparison item of time information, the first comparison item of time information being linked with the training item of patient information; and actuating, via a controller, the imaging device based upon the first item of time information established to acquire the contrast agent-enhanced image data set.

  • Publication number: 20130057042
Abstract: A recliner assembly for a vehicle seat having a seat back pivotally mounted relative to a seat bottom is provided. The seat back is movable between an upright position, where the seat back is in a generally vertical position for supporting an occupant seated on the seat, and a storage position, where the seat back is folded with respect to the seat bottom. The recliner assembly includes a damper operatively connected between the seat bottom and seat back. The damper includes an outer race and an inner race, wherein at least one of the inner race and outer race comprise an annular cam-profile surface. A plurality of rollers are disposed between the inner race and outer race, to cooperate with the cam-profile surface and the other one of the inner race and outer race to dampen movement of the seat back during at least partial movement from the upright position to the storage position.

  • Patent number: 7784872
Abstract: A recliner mechanism for a vehicle seat is provided. The recliner mechanism includes a first mounting part and a second mounting part forming a housing with an interior and being arranged on a common shaft. The recliner mechanism further includes a latching device arranged in the interior of the housing. The latching device has a latching pawl and a holding and adjusting member. The latching pawl is able to be adjusted to a locked position relative to the first mounting part. The holding and adjusting member is able to be reversibly adjusted from a first position effecting the locked position and a second position effecting an unlocked position by rotating the shaft. The holding and adjusting member rotates about a swivel pin that is provided substantially parallel to the shaft and is spaced apart therefrom.
