  • Patent number: 11319734
Abstract: An unlocking unit for unlocking an openable closure element of a motor vehicle, having a housing with a switch unit and an actuating element that can be pivoted relative to the housing and pivoted relative to the switch unit from an unactuated resting position into at least two actuating positions. It is provided that the switch unit is positioned in the housing and can be reversibly positioned in at least two different switch point positions relative to the housing, whereby different trigger switch points can be assigned the pivotable actuating element of the unlocking unit in accordance with a switch angle of the actuating element that can be pivoted out of the resting position.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 22, 2019
Date of Patent: May 3, 2022
    Assignee: Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft
    Inventor: Ralf Hansen
  • Patent number: 11295264
Abstract: A method predicts a derivable event in a logistic network. The method includes generating a Bayesian network describing a structure of at least a part of a logistic network. A query is received for the derivable event that depends on a combination of base events in the logistic network. The Bayesian network is instantiated for a plurality of points in time. A prediction of the derivable event is deduced from the instantiated Bayesian network by use of complex event processing.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 5, 2014
Date of Patent: April 5, 2022
    Assignee: Siemens Aktiengesellschaft

  • Patent number: 9321410
Abstract: A pivoting mechanism for movably attaching a camera to a vehicle. The pivoting mechanism has a vehicle-mounted component; a first rotational joint attached to the vehicle-mounted component; a first pivot arm, the first end of which is rotatably mounted on the first rotational joint; a second rotational joint attached to the vehicle-mounted component; a second pivot arm, the first end of which is rotatably mounted on the second rotational joint; a camera holder; a third rotational joint attached to the camera holder and on which a second end of the first pivot arm is rotatably mounted; and a fourth rotational joint attached to the camera holder and on which a second end of the second pivot arm is rotatably mounted.
