  • Patent number: 11802483
Abstract: Embodiments of bladed rotors and methods for manufacturing bladed rotors are provided herein. The method for manufacturing bladed rotors includes providing a workpiece including a first rotor blade segment. The first rotor blade segment includes a first platform portion on a radially outward end portion of the first rotor blade segment. Further, the method includes forming a second rotor blade segment, by additive manufacturing, removing a side portion of the first platform portion, and removing a side portion of the second rotor blade segment, whereby a second platform portion remains on a radially outward end portion of the second rotor blade segment.

  • Patent number: 10414417
Abstract: A wheelset measurement device (1) for the wheelsets (2) of rail vehicles is used to check the wheelsets (2) of rail vehicles for an operationally safe state and for meeting the operating limit measures when built into the rail vehicles. In order to facilitate such checks with comparatively little effort and high reliability, the wheelset measurement device (1) has two separate device subunits (7,8) that can be displaced individually and which each can be pushed laterally against the wheelset (2) and be arranged in the position pushed against the wheelset (2).
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20120155606
Abstract: A marine device has a floating buoy containing electronics, a submerged payload containing electrical devices and electronics, a power source and a mooring line. At least a part of the power source is submerged and electrically connected to at least one of the submerged payload and the floating buoy, and the mooring line extends between the buoy and at least one of the power source submerged part, the submerged payload and a submerged anchor having a mass allowing it to stay under the water surface.

  • Patent number: 7261620
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for reprofiling wheel disks (7) or brake disks of a railway wheel or wheelset (6), rotatably mounted in bearing housings (9), by machining using a machine tool (12), which is designed to be portable, a wheel disk (7) of the railway wheel or the wheelset (6) being pressed against backup rolls (16) on its circumference by a clamping element (14, 15), which engages on at least one bearing housing (9), at least one of the backup rolls setting the railway wheel or the wheelset (6) into rotation, while simultaneously a tool (20) machines one of the wheel (7) or brake disks. The invention also relates to a machine tool (12) for carrying out the method.
