A method for making a pacifier may include securing a frame in a shield mold defining a mouth shield cavity. The method may further include introducing a curable precursor material into the shield mold. The method may further include overmolding at least a portion of the curable material across at least a portion of the frame in the mold. The method may further include allowing the curable material to cure in the mouth shield cavity into a mouth shield at least partially secured to the frame by an overmold. An interface between the mouth shield and the frame may be continuous.

A straw can be positioned through an opening in the drinking attachment. The straw can include a top end that includes an opening through which a user can withdraw liquid and a bottom end. A drinking valve can be positioned along the bottom end of the straw and can include a tube that is open on the top and closed on the bottom and further includes at least one flow-through opening connecting the inside of the valve to the outside of the straw. The syringe body has a finger rest and a stop member for limiting the axial motion of the piston at one end and the finger rest is in one-piece with the stop member, which includes at least one projecting element extending into the syringe body. The syringe has a syringe body with a radially outwardly extending flange section, which is formed for a forming-fitting and/or force-locking engagement with at least one catch region provided in the finger rest in order to securely hold the finger rest on the syringe body.

A finger support is provided at one end of the syringe body and an end portion for holding a hollow needle is provided at the other end of the syringe body. The hollow needle is clamped in a needle channel provided in the end portion. A method of making a syringe body is described, in which the cylindrical storage chamber is made in one piece with a threaded connector by an injection molding process, the end portion provided with the hollow needle clamped in it is made in another injection molding process and then after making the end portion and the cylindrical storage chamber the cylindrical storage chamber is connected with the end portion.
