  • Publication number: 20210049853
Abstract: A generally vertical banknote recycling bay arrangement comprising a generally vertically oriented banknote recycling bay for receiving banknotes therein, the recycling bay having an upper end and a lower end. The arrangement further comprising a banknote feeding assembly for feeding banknotes, one at a time, into the recycling bay, the feeding assembly being positioned near the upper end of the recycling bay. The arrangement further comprising a banknote dispensing assembly for feeding banknotes, one at a time, out of the recycling bay, the dispensing assembly being positioned near the upper end of the recycling bay. The arrangement further comprising a pair of stacker wheels supported for rotational movement about a driven stacker wheel shaft, each stacker wheel being laterally moveable along the driven stacker wheel shaft and a stacker wheel positioning mechanism configured to adjust the lateral positions of the pair of stacker wheels along the stripper wheel shaft.

  • Patent number: 9244033
Abstract: A pressurized gas storage system includes an outer shell having an inner and outer surface. The inner surface defines an inner volume for holding a pressurized gas. A first electrically conductive layer is attached to the outer shell. An inner liner is disposed over the inner surface. A second electrically conductive layer is attached to the inner liner. A capacitance meter measures the capacitance between the first and second electrically conductive layers wherein a change in capacitance indicates buckling in the storage system.

  • Patent number: 8621913
Abstract: A method and system for using an existing open-environment hydrogen sensor for detecting hydrogen leaking from an atmospheric reference port of a pressure regulator. The atmospheric reference port extension tube of one or more pressure regulators in a hydrogen storage system is routed past a hydrogen sensor which is already used to monitor air around the hydrogen storage system for the presence of hydrogen. In this configuration, the open-environment hydrogen sensor can quickly and reliably detect hydrogen gas flowing from the atmospheric reference port of one of the pressure regulators in the event a pressure regulator develops an internal leak.

  • Publication number: 20130338114
Abstract: Phosphatidic acid, lyso-phosphatidic acid, and/or phospholipase D can be administered to exercising mammals to increase muscle mass and strength. These actives can be administered orally to aging, bedridden or cachectic patients, as well as resistance training individuals, to improve nitrogen balance. The oral administration of phosphatidic acid as well as other actives described herein was found to increase muscle hypertrophy, strength, and lean body mass, and to decrease body fat in subjects, for example, when combined with resistance training.
