Abstract: Systems and methods to provide integration of partner ERP systems into a host financial system using generic cost objects. In example embodiments, an accounting system having a generic cost object is maintained. A user interface for creating a configured cost object that represents a specialized business item is provided. Data that mirrors the configured cost object is received, which results in a mirror cost object. Accounting operations are performed in the accounting system based on the mirror cost object and a corresponding business control set by replacing the generic cost object with the mirror cost object. Output based on performance of the accounting operations based on the mirror cost object and corresponding business configuration set are provided.

Abstract: An instrument suitable for minimal invasive surgery. The instrument can be introduced into a body, for example, through a trocar, and has two arms and a centrally guided knife for clamping vessels. The central guidance of the knife in at least one of the arms avoids disadvantages that could otherwise develop as a result of the off-center severing of coagulated tissue. Moreover, the clean central guidance of the knife results in lower wear on the knife. Thus, a better cut quality and a longer service life of the knife can be achieved.

In one implementation, a data processing system is provided that comprises application programs adapted to generate a distribution request, storage means for storing rules adapted for distribution of the quantity and storing an assignment of a sub-set of the rules to each application program, each rule having an assigned priority of execution and each sub-set of rules having an assigned identifier. The system may also comprise means for receiving the request comprising the identifier of the sub-set of rules assigned to the one of the application programs, the quantity to be distributed, and the identifiers of receiver objects, the distribution calculation means adapted to access the storage means for execution of the sub-set of rules assigned to the one of the application programs.

Abstract: A surgical instrument comprises a tool part and a grip part connected to each other via a ball and socket joint or other double-axis joint. The double axis joint allows the surgeon to work in a non-fatiguing, ergonomic and sensitive manner. The tool on the tool part can be activated e.g., mechanically by an actuation member. Additional actuation elements such as, e.g., electrical switches, can be arranged on the grip part to activate the tool. The transmission connection between the grip part and the tool can be achieved via rigid levers and connecting pieces or also via flexible elements (e.g., a traction cord), or rigid components with an integral hinge. To uncouple a pivoting movement of the grip part towards the tool part from an actuation of the tool, at least one joint of the transmission is arranged in the center of the joint.

Abstract: A medical pump for use in water jet surgery which provides ease of connection between a pump unit and a pump actuating device. The medical pump includes a pump unit and a pump actuating device. The pump unit has at least one piston. The pump actuating device includes a holding device and at least one coupling device, the combination of which is configured to connect the pump unit and pistons to the pump actuating device. The pump actuating device includes a drive device controlled by a control system to actuate the pump unit, to open/close the holding device, and to open/close the at least one coupling device. The pump actuating device includes a detection device in communication with the control system that detects a relative position between the pump unit and the pump actuating device and transmits detection signals to the control system.

This table is transferred to a financial data server for calculation of the value of work in progress.

According to the invention, such an area is embodied as a stocking, tube, or similar anatomically shaped thromboembolism-preventing envelope, whereby secure contact of the neutral electrode is ensured without requiring any additional device.
