  • Patent number: 11953107
Abstract: A valve with a valve seat and a valve disk has the valve disk configured such that it can be brought into a first position in which it is in contact with the valve seat where the valve is closed, and can be brought into a second position in which the valve is open. The valve has at least one spring element, and the valve seat can be displaced against a force exerted by the at least one spring element by bringing the valve disk from the second position into the first position and thereby deforming the spring element.

  • Patent number: 11602653
Abstract: A flame front in a gas pipeline is extinguished by introducing an extinguishing agent at an overpressure at an extinguishing zone of the pipeline. Using an overpressure provides a better and finer atomization of the extinguishing agent, and permits a greater amount of the extinguishing agent to be provided in the extinguishing zone per unit time. In addition, a sealing fluid is introduced at sealing zone of the pipeline. Gas flowing through the pipeline must flow through the sealing fluid in the sealing zone. Preferably, movement of a flame front from one side of the sealing zone to the other side of the sealing zone is prevented or reduced by the sealing fluid.

  • Patent number: 11112013
Abstract: A tank valve with a valve seat and a valve disc can be displaced relative to the valve seat along a displacement direction into either a closed position or a through-flow position. The valve seat includes a plate shaped part and a ring-shaped part. The valve disc has a first contact area which contacts the first plate shaped part of the valve seat when the tank valve is in the closed position. The valve disc also has a second contact area which is in contact with a second part of the valve seat when it is in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 9765895
Abstract: A switching valve having a valve seat with a longitudinal axis (L) and having a valve plate with a valve plate surface which can be placed into a pass-through position, in which the switching valve is open, and into a closed position, in which the switching valve is closed and the valve plate bears with the valve plate surface, in a contact region, against the valve seat, wherein the valve plate has a modulus of elasticity of at least 1000 N/mm2, which switching valve is characterized in that the valve plate, in the closed position, is deformed by a closing force acting thereon, in such a way that the contact region of the valve plate surface in the closed position forms an angle ?, which differs from 0°, with the contact region of the valve plate surface in the pass-through position.
