Abstract: The invention relates to compounds, which are suitable for coupling to pharmaceuticals, in particular biopharmaceuticals, in addition to conjugates from the compounds comprising biomolecules or pharmaceutically active substances. The inventive compounds are highly cross-linked and can be formed in a simple manner by using a central cross-linking module. The invention also relates to the use of conjugates as an improved formulation of pharmaceuticals and to the production thereof.

Abstract: The present invention relates to compounds which are suitable for coupling to pharmaceuticals, in particular biopharmaceuticals, and to conjugates composed of the compounds and biomolecules or pharmaceutical active compounds. The compounds according to the invention can be readily formed by means of multicomponent reactions. The invention also relates to the use of the conjugates as an improved formulation of pharmaceuticals, and to their preparation. The invention furthermore provides a laboratory kit for the in-vitro preparation of conjugates which are composed of the compounds according to the invention and pharmaceuticals as well as biotechnological substances, in particular biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical active compounds, synthetic molecules or surfaces.

Abstract: The present invention relates to new active carbohydrate containing protecting reagents represented by a carbohydrate central unit, which is attached to a polymer chain at least at one of the hydroxyl groups and to an active linkage group at the anomeric position of the carbohydrate central unit. These new compounds are active carbohydrate containing protecting reagents, glycodendrimers and related hydrophilic oligomers. Further the invention relates to a method for their preparation and their use for production of biologically active molecules, which are modified by these reagents preferred for biotechnological use.
