  • Publication number: 20150216498
Abstract: It is described a method for determining values of geometry parameters of a cone beam computer tomography apparatus, the method comprising: (a) obtaining x-ray projection data captured by the detector from at least three calibration objects arranged at mutually different positions, the x-ray projection data comprising for each calibration object plural projections at different rotation angles; (b) determining for each calibration object a respective ellipse representation from the respective plural projections; (c) performing a random search across candidate values of the geometry parameters for determining the values of the geometry parameters, wherein a cost function depending on the ellipse representations and the geometry parameters is optimized.

  • Patent number: 8671392
Abstract: Techniques for integrating software applications include identifying an enterprise application executable in a first computing environment, where the enterprise application is compatible with a first version of a network application executable in a second computing environment so that a first set of functionality of the first version of the network application is exposed through the enterprise application. The features include identifying a second version of the network application executable in the second computing environment. The second version of the network application includes a second set of functionality at least partially distinct from the first set of functionality. The features include delivering an integration component from the second computing system to the first computing system.

  • Publication number: 20100124775
Abstract: According to the present invention, a process for treating cultured cells is provided, which comprises the steps of: a) providing planar, two-dimensional objects (“flakes”), wherein these objects comprise a material which, upon application of an extrinsic stimulus, is transferred from the planar state into a rolled state, b) providing cells on said flakes, and c) transferring the flakes from the planar state into a rolled state by application of said extrinsic stimulus.
