  • Patent number: 10011185
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for battery management, wherein a magnitude of a current that can be provided by the battery within a prediction period is determined from an available magnitude of a status variable, which is predicted within the prediction period, wherein the predicted available magnitude of the status variable is determined by means of a difference between a permissible magnitude of the status variable, which is determined for a first reference period, and an obtained magnitude of the status variable, which is determined for the first reference period. The disclosure also relates to a computer program and a battery management system suitable for carrying out the method and to a motor vehicle having such a battery management system.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 2, 2014
Date of Patent: July 3, 2018
Assignees: Robert Bosch GmbH, Samsung SDI Co., Ltd.
Inventors: Stefan Trinkert, Andreas Lemke, Ralf Piscol, Ralf Link

  • Publication number: 20090162176
Abstract: The invention relates to a stacker crane (10) having at least one mast (12), a lift truck (14) movable along mast (12) and a load lifting means (16), located on lift truck (14), for moving a storage object (34) substantially perpendicular to mast (12). According to the invention the stacker crane (10) has at least one device (38, 40) for detecting a position of the storage object (34) in bay (48) during the supply of storage object (34) from load lifting means (16) to a storage location in bay (48).

  • Patent number: 6584432
Abstract: Disclosed is a diagnostic unit for a remote diagnosis of a data processing unit (DPU). The diagnostic unit is adapted to be coupled to a remote DPU via a network and to an internal bus of the DPU. The diagnostic unit includes a central processing unit (CPU) for controlling a diagnostic action and/or a monitoring action independently of the DPU, by monitoring a data communication within the DPU and/or of the DPU with external devices, and/or by performing tests with the DPU. An “intelligent” diagnosis of the DPU can thus be provided, allowing a continuous and on-going monitoring of the DPU independent of the functional state of the DPU.
