Abstract: Fracture separation module for insertion into a machine tool, comprising: A drive spindle (10) with a receiving section for clamping the module into a spindle of a machine tool, a fracturing part (20) for the fracture separation of a workpiece, a conversion unit (30) which is connected both to the drive spindle (10) and to the fracturing part (20) and converts a rotational movement of the drive spindle (10) into a linear movement of the fracturing part (20), which movement is suitable for fracturing the workpiece, and a method for the fracture separation of a workpiece, wherein the fracture separation step takes place by means of the fracture separation module of the present invention.

Abstract: A processing machine arrangement includes a processing machine with at least one tool spindle and with a tool magazine for offering tools to the processing machine for the machining of a workpiece. A method for the operation of such a processing machine arrangement is also provided. There is a robot with a multi-joint robot arm for providing the tool magazine with tools from a tool storage supply means and for removing spent tools from the tool magazine, and that the tool magazine includes a tool holder portion which is alternatingly able to be shifted, and more especially pivoted, into a robot access space for a tool change of the robot and into a spindle access space for a tool change on the tool spindle, with the tool holder portion having a tool holder for holding a tool.

Abstract: A machine tool for machining workpieces includes a spindle group with at least two spindle arrangements placed alongside each other, each spindle arrangement possessing a spindle to receive a machining tool. Each spindle arrangement is guided on a guide arrangement in the direction of the axis of the respective spindle in a longitudinally sliding manner on a holding device or frame for the spindle group, each guide arrangement possesses an external clearance which is larger than the width of the respective spindle and that the guide arrangements of two directly adjacent spindle arrangements of the spindle group are arranged on mutually different sides of the holding device or frame so that the spindle axes are arranged closer together than in the case of an arrangement of the guide arrangements on the same side of the holding device or frame.
