Abstract: A tool exchange assembly and related method configured to swap change tool assemblies with a nutrunner constructed in accordance to one example of the present disclosure includes a nest. The nest has a lower jaw portion and an upper jaw portion. The lower jaw portion has first and second lower fingers that cooperate to define a lower slot. The upper jaw portion has first and second upper fingers that cooperate to define an upper slot. The nest is configured to receive a change tool assembly. Relative movement of the change tool assembly and the nest urges a sleeve on the change tool assembly to move between a locked position and an unlocked position.

Abstract: A centrifuge includes an elastically supported centrifuge basket, a drive unit, and an endless drive arrangement, such as a drive belt arranged on a drive pulley of the drive unit and a driven pulley of the centrifuge basket support unit, for driving the centrifuge basket. A tension relieving device is provided for relieving or counteracting the tension forces of the endless drive arrangement. Thus the elastic supporting members of the centrifuge basket support unit are not stressed by the tension forces of the endless drive arrangement, and the tension relieving device can be pre-stressed so that the basket is in a neutral position during operation. For pre-stressing the tension relieving device, it includes an elastic thrust element, such as a compression spring packet, in addition to a length adjustable strut. To avoid tilting moments, the tension relieving device is arranged in a plane of the endless drive arrangement between the two pulleys.

Abstract: A continuously operating centrifuge for spinning sugar massecuite has a perforated basket which widens conically and rotates about a vertical axis. The perforated basket has a throwing-off edge from which the sugar particles are spun off outwardly and are then collected in a further processing device and undergo additional treatment. The further processing device has a removable collecting channel with at least one discharge nozzle at the base thereof. An overflow nozzle can be installed in the discharge nozzle to cause pooling of liquid and convert the centrifuge from magmatizing operation to dissolving operation. An adjustable rebound member and selectable one of two liquid medium conduits further allow reconfiguration between the two modes of operation. For dry centrifuging, the collecting channel can be removed.
