In a preferred embodiment, the actuator takes the form of a fluid-actuated cylinder such as a pneumatic cylinder. The clip assembly includes a spring to urge the test clip into a clamping position. Upon activation, pressurized fluid is directed to the cylinder, causing a force to oppose the spring and move the test clip into a release position.
