  • Patent number: 9470407
Abstract: Lighting apparatus for airports, in particular flush light, having housing with a housing base and a housing top that includes a recess for receiving a light disc. Light disc facilitates the emission of light from a light source, disposed in the interior of the housing, to the surroundings. A light source carrier on which the light source is mounted is attached to a heat transfer block locked in a recess of the housing top such that edges and/or at least partially flat sides of the heat transfer block are in direct contact with the corresponding sides of the recess.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 27, 2013
Date of Patent: October 18, 2016
Assignee: Hella KGaA Hueck & Co
Inventors: Bjorn Abel, Klaus Auras, Thomas Albert Robbecke, Ralf Ruther

  • Patent number: 6618595
Abstract: In a wireless telecommunication system, for example a DECT/GAP system, under the control jurisdiction of a first telecommunication apparatus of the telecommunication system control mechanisms (i.e. messages, information elements and procedures) of a standard protocol (e.g. a protocol according to the DECT/GAP standard) are activated for the execution of a special protocol, which serve for the exchange of additional items of information between the first telecommunication apparatus and a second telecommunication apparatus of the telecommunication system.

  • Patent number: 6188895
Abstract: In order to couple further telecommunications terminal end points automatically to a hybrid telecommunications system—in particular an RNT-specific telecommunications system to which a telecommunications terminal end point is connected, an interface structure is in each case created in the telecommunications interfaces between a public telecommunications network and a DECT/GAP-specific RNT system of the hybrid telecommunications system, This interface structure is constructed in such a manner that each telecommunications interface autonomously, for example in accordance with a predetermined calculation algorithm, forms further connection information that is relevant for the telecommunications connection to the other telecommunications appliances, irrespective of the respectively other interface, This is based on first connection information which is stored in the interface and is relevant for the telecommunications connection to one of the telecommunications terminal end points.

  • Patent number: 5999805
Abstract: For mobile stations (MS1 . . . MSn) combined with a base station (BS1 . . . BSm), the loss of an unavailable mobile station (MS5) is signalled at the base station (BS1 . . . BSm) in that the relevant mobile station (MS5) is deleted from a memory (SP1) of the base station (BS1 . . . BSm) with respect to an identification word (IDW5).

  • Patent number: 5625888
Abstract: When base stations (BS1 . . . BSm) and mobile stations (MS1 . . . MSn) of a cordless communication system are combined to form a communicating unit, a supplementary message (M2) is transmitted, in addition to a DECT-specific message (M1), from base stations (BS1 . . . BSm) to the mobile station (MS1 . . . MSn) at a request stage. The mobile stations (MS1 . . . MSn) must synchronize to this supplementary message (M2) in order to be combined with the base stations (BS1 . . . BSm) at a registration stage. For this final combining, the mobile station (MS1 . . . MSn) must additionally legitimate itself as authorized mobile station with a legitimation word (I-LW) at the base stations (BS1 . . . BSm).
