  • Patent number: 11472448
Abstract: The invention relates to a coupling arrangement for a rail vehicle that includes a coupling rod which extends along a longitudinal axis, a bearing bracket to which the coupling rod is connected at a second axial end, a bearing between the bearing bracket and the coupling rod, and a support structure which elastically supports the coupling rod in relation to the movement in the vertical direction. The support structure is positioned in the vertical direction at least predominantly level with the bearing bracket and/or with the coupling rod in a manner substantially coaxial with respect to the longitudinal axis.

Date of Patent: October 18, 2022
    Assignee: Voith Patent GmbH
Inventors: Kay Uwe Kolshorn, Ralf Schipmann, Erik Johannsen
  • Patent number: 11370466
Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for the horizontal re-centering of a coupling shaft, particularly a central buffer coupling of a track-guided vehicle, wherein the device (1) comprises a first rotating body (3) and a second rotating body (4) which is rotatable relative to the first rotating body (3), wherein the device (1) is designed to produce the force necessary to generate a restoring torque acting on the coupling shaft by the rotating of the two rotating bodies (3, 4) relative to each other.

    Filed: October 20, 2017
Date of Patent: June 28, 2022
    Assignee: Voith Patent GmbH

  • Patent number: 8534475
Abstract: A supporting device for vertically supporting a coupling rod pivotably articulated in the vertical direction to a car body underframe of a rail-borne vehicle comprises a support able to be brought into contact with the coupling rod and a mount connected to the support and able to be fixed to the car body underframe of the vehicle. The support can move relative to and in the direction of the mount upon exceeding a critical external force acting on the support in the vertical direction. In order to disassociate the response curve of the supporting force from the spring characteristic of a spring element associated with the supporting device, a force-transmitting mechanism is provided enabling the at least one spring element to be coupled to the support and to the mount such that the spring element is elastically deformed by the support moving relative to the mount.
