  • Publication number: 20140186427
Abstract: The present invention pertains to oral applicable therapeutic dosage forms, in particular to orodispersible films. The present invention especially is directed to orodispersible films comprising a base layer substantially free of therapeutically active agents and a top layer comprising the desired therapeutically active agents. The present invention also concerns suitable base layers for such orodispersible films as well as therapeutical uses thereof and methods for manufacturing them.

  • Patent number: 6874740
Abstract: An adhesive tape section having an adhesive region and designed as a polygon having a number of sides and the same number of grip tabs arranged around the adhesive region, or designed as a circle, the adhesive region occupying a central portion of said circle, and a grip tab occupying an outer portion of said circle. The adhesive tape section, when bonded to a substrate, forms a bond with the substrate, which bond is releasible from the substrate by pulling on at least on of said grip tabs in the plane of the bond to stretch the adhesive tape section in the plane of the bond thereby to release the adhesive tape section from the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20050011608
Abstract: Method for diecutting a web which is provided with adhesive at least on one side and is on a backing material into individual diecuts, characterized in that the diecutting line of the cross-diecutting which subdivides the web into the diecuts over the entire width of the web in a non-branching line has a form other than that of a straight line, the backing material not being cut into, or only insignificantly.

  • Patent number: 6553884
Abstract: An adhesive tape dispenser for dispensing and cutting a length of an adhesive tape. The adhesive tape dispenser comprises an adhesive tape cutting device. The adhesive tape cutting device comprises a) a resting surface to which a tacky side of said adhesive tape can be adhered while the adhesive tape is being cut, b) two lateral webs extending in the same direction from both edges of the resting surface to serve as guides for the adhesive tape, and c) a cutting blade having a blade edge and positioned on an inner side of one or both lateral webs in such a way that the blade edge is inclined at an angle which is oblique relative to the resting surface. The lateral webs have a height from the resting surface which is the same or is higher than each cutting blade. The adhesive tape dispenser is useful to dispense and cut adhesive tapes comprising a backing of biaxially oriented or highly stretched film, such as polyolefin.

  • Patent number: 6390411
Abstract: Core for winding self-adhesively coated materials in web form, wherein the outer contour of the core is formed by at least one substantially round, self-contained segment, the ends of which run together in an edge, with a) the round segment being shaped convexly with respect to the axis of the core, b) the normals to the surface of the round segment being aligned substantially orthogonally with respect to the axis of the core, c) the edge being aligned substantially parallel with respect to the axis of the core and the core having a recess on the inside, so that the roll together with the core can be fitted on commercially available adhesive tape dispensers which have cylindrical core holders.

  • Publication number: 20010006291
Abstract: The use of an adhesive tape for detecting the unauthorized broaching of a package, by virtue of the fact that on removal from the surface of a package the adhesive is irreversibly destroyed and clearly indicates an attempted broaching by being destroyed by tearing, or by splitting in the thickness direction, the adhesive tape having a backing based on cellulose acetate, cellulose diacetate, cellulose triacetate or cellulose hydrate of low tear propagation resistance, one side of which backing has been provided with an adhesive composition.
