  • Patent number: 10655293
Abstract: A method and device for freezing the ground are disclosed, including a freezing lance which extends along a longitudinal axis and has a pipe mantle that encloses an interior space, wherein the ground surrounding the freezing lance can be cooled by the refrigerant present in a first section of the interior space, a line for supplying the liquid refrigerant in the first section of the interior space, wherein the device has a first end section with a first opening for removing an exhaust gas formed by evaporation of the refrigerant from the interior space, wherein the interior space has a second section for holding the exhaust gas, wherein heat is exchangeable between the exhaust gas and the pipe mantle in the second section, so that the exhaust gas can be heated by heat exchange with the ground adjacent to the freezing lance.

    Assignee: LINDE AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT
    Inventors: Ralf Schmand, Abraham Sliwo
  • Publication number: 20190309495
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a contiguous frozen mass in an area of ground wherein at least one first cooling lance is introduced into the area of ground in which the contiguous frozen mass is to be generated, wherein a first fluid coolant is fed into the at least first cooling lance to support the formation of a contiguous frozen mass which surrounds the at least first cooling lance, the first coolant evaporates during formation of the contiguous frozen mass and the evaporated coolant is displaced out of the at least first cooling lance into a means for holding and/or dissipating the evaporated coolant. In this context, it is provided according to the invention that noise emissions generated during the creation of the contiguous frozen mass are minimised by a soundproofing means. The invention relates further to a device for performing the method according to the invention.

  • Patent number: 9708787
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a contiguous ice body in a ground region, wherein first cooling lances are inserted into the ground region in which the contiguous ice body is to be produced in the presence of a flow of a fluid flow medium flowing through the ground region, in particular in the form of groundwater, wherein a first coolant is introduced into the first cooling lances, and wherein furthermore at least one second cooling lance is introduced into the ground region on a side of the first cooling lances facing the flow and a second coolant, which has a temperature that is lower than the temperature of the first coolant, is introduced into the at least one second cooling lance in order to support the formation of a contiguous ice body that surrounds all of the cooling lances.

  • Publication number: 20160279836
Abstract: A method for deburring a rubber molded part, by the following steps: providing a molded part that exhibits a bur to be removed, cooling the bur by exposing the bur to a liquefied gas, and exposing the bur to dry ice particles to remove the bur. There is also described a corresponding arrangement or apparatus for deburring rubber molded parts.
