  • Patent number: 11839519
Abstract: Disclosed is a two-component mixing capsule for intake and for mixing of two compositions with a capsule housing having a discharge spout at its front end, wherein the mixing capsule comprises a first mixing chamber and a second mixing chamber, wherein the two mixing chambers may be separated from each other for storage or for transport, by the first mixing chamber being rotatable into a first position in which the first mixing chamber is separated from mixing chamber, by a rotatably mounted handhold element, the rotational axis of which is approximately perpendicularly arranged to the longitudinal axis of the mixing capsule. The two mixing chambers form a common mixing chamber by rotating the first mixing chamber into a second position in which the central axes of the first and second mixing chamber are substantially coaxially arranged, wherein the composition may be discharged after mixing by attaching a squeezing piston.

  • Patent number: 9387052
Abstract: An application device with a cylindrical basic body for storing a squeezable dental material having a piston positioned inside the basic body and axially displaceable towards the basic body. A piston rod serves to displace the piston in the squeezing direction, which piston rod partially reaches into the piston and is axially displaceable towards the latter. The piston is provided with an elastic resetting device at its front end area positioned in the direction towards the dental material. The elastic resetting device can be biased in the squeezing direction, and returns back to its relaxed position after the end of each axial movement of the piston in the squeezing direction and release of the pressure exerted on the piston rod for this purpose.

  • Publication number: 20150125824
Abstract: The invention discloses a partially elastic shaped body in the form of a negative image of a dental arch containing a matrix based on a gel containing an active substance or a system with a mineralizing effect as well as an application system for the treatment of teeth. The application system comprises an application dental splint that is well-suited for use on the upper and/or lower jaw, whereby the dental splint can accommodate at least one first three-dimensional shaped body that is adapted to the splint and contains a matrix, preferably the dental splint can be deformed by heat. The matrix of the at least one first and optionally further shaped body contains at least one active substance or a system with a mineralizing effect containing phosphates, calcium, and fluorides. The method for producing the application system and a kit comprising the application system are also a subject matter of the invention.

  • Patent number: 8387835
Abstract: The invention relates to an application device for dental materials with a cartridge that has a piston and is destined for receiving the dental material, and with an application nozzle that is attached to an outlet port of the cartridge. A positive or form-fit connection between the cartridge (12) and the application nozzle (14) is formed, and the application nozzle (14) and/or the cartridge (12) have a vent duct (40) whose width or diameter prevents or blocks the dental material from flowing out.

The elastic resetting device can be biased in the squeezing direction, and returns back to its relaxed position after the end of each axial movement of the piston in the squeezing direction and release of the pressure exerted on the piston rod for this purpose. Dripping of excess dental material is prevented from the application device by creating a partial vacuum inside the basic body, with the elastic resetting device pressing the piston rod in a direction opposite the squeezing direction.
