Abstract: A positioning system for positioning a display device for presenting visually perceptible information in a motor vehicle, the positioning system includes a display and a guide system with at least one rail element, and with at least one slide element guidable with the rail element. One of the two elements is fixed by a connection device to the display device and the respective other element is designed to be connected to a supporting structure or a transverse member of an instrument panel. At least one securing element which is rigidly connected by a first end region to the display device and by a second end region to the element designed for connection to the supporting structure. Under action of specific pulses, the guide system can achieve a substantially translational displacement of the display device by a relative movement between the rail element and the slide element in the guide plane.

Abstract: A keypad assembly comprising one or more keys arranged on a deflection web is provided. Each key may comprise a key cap and a post operatively coupled to the key cap. The deflection web may comprise a web having at least one seat configured to receive the post of the key. An adhesive is provided to bond the post to the seat. The post may comprise a plurality of channels and may further comprise a flange for mating with a shoulder of the seat. The channels and the mating flange and shoulder may provide for better glue distribution between the post and the seat. A method for making the keypad assembly is also provided.
