Abstract: The invention describes a method and a device for determining the three-dimensional geometry of a bent extruded section which is held in a feed and fixing unit in the region along a first rectilinear center axis (A) of the extruded section and is bent through a predeterminable bending angle a by means of a bending device, in such a manner that the region of the first rectilinear center axis (A) adjoins one side of a bent region of the extruded section which has been produced by the bending operation and a region having a second rectilinear center (B) adjoins the opposite side. The invention also describes a corresponding bending device.
