  • Publication number: 20020168903
Abstract: A description is given of a quick-fastening device for fixing an installation unit on a carrying-rail configuration. The carrying-rail configuration has a carrier plate and a hat-profile rail. Integrally formed on the carrier plate is a resilient snap-action hook with a nose that is oriented in the direction of the hat-profile carrying rail and is snapped into one depression on the narrow side wall of the installation unit.

  • Publication number: 20020066275
Abstract: The present invention proposes a process and a device which permit to improve the efficiency of energetic gas turbines operating in user regions with outside temperatures from −5° C. to +50° C. Unlike in the state of the art, no heat is withdrawn in this connection from the gas compressor (3) when the heat requirement rises in the overall intake system, but successively by using first the off-air heated by the generator (2) for heating the intake air in the intake duct (12, 12′) and subsequently withdrawing additional heat in the form of the heat of an off-heat system (8) generated at the end of the heat circulation. When additional heat is required, heat can be withdrawn from the compressor (3) via a bypass conduit (20).

  • Publication number: 20010006857
Abstract: A connection for two items of installation equipment lined up beside each other with their end or broad sides against each other, in particular line-protection circuit breakers, residual current circuit breakers and the like, whose housings are each formed from two shell-shaped housing parts. The connecting element has an approximately cylindrical base body with a first outer diameter onto which, on both sides, two radially springy spreading arms projecting axially in opposite directions are integrally molded. The outside diameter of the spreading arms is smaller than the outside diameter of the base body and free ends of the spreading arms have radially protruding lugs which, when assembled, latch in behind protrusions on the housings of the items of installation equipment located beside each other and to be connected by the connecting element.

  • Patent number: 5176895
Abstract: The present invention deals with the continuous production of sodium azide from sodium amide and nitrous oxide. This reaction takes place on a support material for sodium amide consisting of a mixture of sodium azide and sodium hydroxide. This mixture is passed through a reactor maintained at temperatures of between 200.degree. and 270.degree. C.; a portion of the reaction product and the support material are transferred out of the system at an end of the reactor, and a primary quantity of the reaction product and support material are returned to the reactor inlet where the material is combined with fresh, heated sodium amide in an amount corresponding to the quantity of sodium azide transferred-out with the reaction product and support material. With the aid of this continuous process, higher space-time yields of sodium azide can be obtained than in case of the conventional methods without increasing the danger of no longer controllable explosions.
