Patent number: 12529422Abstract: A gear-change selector module for a gearshift of a motor vehicle has a movable element and a shift fork having a carrier arm which engages in a recess of the movable element. The recess has two actuating faces which cooperate with carrier faces of the carrier arm. Viewed in a section running through the centre axis of the movable element and the centre axis of the recess, the actuating faces are each convex in a first portion extending from the centre axis in the direction of the outside of the movable element. Furthermore, viewed in a section running through the centre axis of the movable element and the centre axis of the recess, the carrier faces each extend in a first portion from radially outside the movable element up to the centre axis of the movable element, and in a second portion from the centre axis in the direction of the free end of the carrier arm. The carrier faces are convex in the second portion.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 2022Date of Patent: January 20, 2026Assignee: VALEO POWERTRAIN GMBHInventors: Andreas Schorn, Ralph Berger, Ho-Seon Park, Karlheinz Müller, Dieter Grimmer

Patent number: 11905979Abstract: A piston, in particular for a gear-change selector, including a piston body with a piston skirt and with a piston end face which can be pressurised with a working fluid. The piston includes a first sealing portion and a second sealing portion. The piston body and the first sealing portion have mutually complementary geometries so that they form a first vent channel. The first vent channel is arranged in a hydraulic series circuit with the second sealing portion. The second sealing portion prevents venting up to a first pressure and allows this above the first pressure. The invention furthermore concerns a gear-change selector and a gearshift for a vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 2022Date of Patent: February 20, 2024Assignee: FTE AUTOMOTIVE GmbHInventors: Andreas Schorn, Ralph Berger, Paul Marks, Alexander Landgraf

Patent number: 6164409Abstract: A non porous wax guard for an in-the-canal hearing aid is in the form of a membrane or diaphragm which completely covers the mouth of the round or other shape outlet of the hearing aid. The membrane is made of plastic or metalized plastic, or stainless steel, having a diameter of between 0.20 inches and 3/8 inch, and a thickness of between 0.0005 inches and 0.001 inches. The membrane is affixed to the mouth of the sound outlet by a number of methods. It may be attached to a thin ring of plastic material, and attached with a spring clip to a recess in the sound outlet. It may simply be bonded, by adhesive or heat bonding, to the recess. It may be affixed to a cylindrical mount, and press-fit into the port. Or, as an alternative, the cylindrical mount may be threaded, and mated with an internal thread cut into the sound outlet.Type: GrantFiled: December 11, 1998Date of Patent: December 26, 2000Inventor: Ralph Berger
