Patent number: 11372531Abstract: System, method, and computer product embodiments for controlling a display device's display settings from a computing device's touch-based user interface are described. In an embodiment, the computing device establishes a wireless connectivity with the display device. The computing device sends a command generated to query information related to the display setting. Then, the computing device receives the queried information from the display device. The computing device configures a graphical user interface (GUI) with the queried information to display configurations of the display settings on the touchscreen. The configurations include the display settings currently configured in the display device. The computing device further enables, within GUI, a displayed configuration from the display configurations to be calibrated by one or more touch gestures on the touchscreen.Type: GrantFiled: January 7, 2020Date of Patent: June 28, 2022Assignee: ROKU, INC.Inventors: Steve Shaw-Jong Liu, James Harold Shaw, Anita Ranganath, Gregory S. Gates, Michael Chin-Ming Fu, Matthew Wee, Kevin Ralph Cooper, Charles L. Smith, Harold Sun

Publication number: 20050072214Abstract: A leak detection system capable of automatically detecting a leak in a pressurized piping system. A pressure decay test is utilized to test for leaks in the piping system. Disruption to users of the piping system is reduced by only performing the pressure decay test when there is no user demand on the piping system. Thus, a leakage test is performed by first determining whether there is user demand on the piping system and proceeding with a pressure decay test only if there is no user demand present. If user demand is initiated during the performance of a pressure decay test, the system detects the user demand and halts the pressure decay test until the user demand stops.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 18, 2003Publication date: April 7, 2005Inventor: Ralph Cooper

Patent number: RE30898Abstract: An infrared laser system and method for isotope separation may comprise a molecular gas laser oscillator to produce a laser beam at a first wavelength, Raman spin flip means for shifting the laser to a second wavelength, a molecular gas laser amplifier to amplify said second wavelength laser beam to high power, and optical means for directing the second wavelength, high power laser beam against a desired isotope for selective excitation thereof in a mixture with other isotopes. The optical means may include a medium which shifts the second wavelength high power laser beam to a third wavelength, high power laser beam at a wavelength coincidental with a corresponding vibrational state of said isotope and which is different from vibrational states of other isotopes in the gas mixture.Type: GrantFiled: March 16, 1979Date of Patent: April 6, 1982Assignee: The United States of America as represented by the United States Department of EnergyInventors: Cyrus D.
